5 Men Detained After Plane Lands in N.J.
Authorities on Saturday boarded an American Airlines plane and detained five men after it landed at Newark Liberty International Airport, according to a spokesman for the airport's operator.
The plane was bound from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport when an air marshal notified authorities of five men he considered suspicious, according to Marc LaVorgna, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the airport.
Port Authority police took the five men into custody immediately after the plane landed at 3:20 p.m., LaVorgna said.
LaVorgna did not have more details on why the men were considered suspicious. He also had no information on when the plane left Dallas or how many passengers were on board.

American sure has been in the headlines lately. They seem edgy.
Radical Mormon sect?
the rest of the time they cover Duke University and the Gay agenda.
. . . Another very uncurious habit of our main stream media.
For this we have the First Amendment?!
Yes, that's exactly why we have a First Amendment - to assure that we-the-people have the right to spend money promoting out political opinions (whether or not we call them "objective facts").Compare with the historical sponsorship of competing newspapers by Jefferson and Hamilton in the founding era.
Only difference is, now we have government-licensed broadcast journalism to help promote the fatuous conceit that the artificial reality within the pages of a news report matters more than the actual reality outside of those pages. Which works up to a point - and then our own "Baghdad Bobs" may find reality can't be talked away when reality is military control of your own location by people who "don't exist" or "have to respect the Constitution."
Haka!
Bet their Amish.
"They all went into the bathroom together and shaved themselves."
Gay? Just speculating.
Two were blind one wasn`t??
I always wanted to take "How to smuggle anything" as reading material, or an empty parachute pack as carry-on (pre-911), but common sense and not being able to get an old parachute prevented me.
Bet their Amish what?
LOL
My family is from the upper peninsula of Michigan which is very similar to Minn-a-soda. In addition to "hot dish" my Finnish aunts would always bring over "a jello". Now this wasn't normal jello, but rather jello made in a special mold and filled with chopped carrots and radishes and other curious veggies. Have that on a plate with tater-tot casserole, green bean casserole and and some kind of chicken smothered in Cream of Mushroom soup and you had dinner.
I'm thankful my family escaped that culinary dead zone. ;-)
In addition to outright attacks, part of the enemy's strategy is to engage in disruptive behavior: acts which, while not illegal, succeed in causing us to expend resources (it costs money to divert these flights) and creates uneasiness among the public. For example, it's not illegal to photograph bridges, refineries, etc., but it does cause us to spend money and manpower to investigate these incidents, and does make the newspapers.
When the Amish go bad and join the Shriners, anything can happen.
On the other hand, any direction away from the 'uppaUS' takes you closer to gefiltefish.
