Well, what should really scare you is that there are people here who are working to make sure that happens.

The GOP has mismanaged itself so badly that this risk is for real. It's not so much that these disgruntled "Republicans," will suddenly vote 'Rat.' The tried and true Republican method for shooting us all in the foot is not to show up and vote.
Seen it done.

If you don't vote...then you are leaving the "heavy lifting" to the rest of us...
I don't understand how you can possibly question whether you not voting is the same as voting for a dem..
This country is esentially a 48% - 48% nation..with only about 4% of people that can be influenced...so your ONE VOTE does matter, IMHO>

"Anyone who thinks we should give control to those people on that list are nothing but crackpots imo"
I don't want control given to the Democrats; but I don't want it given to McCain either.

Do you remember the very FIRST words out of Hillary Clinton's mouth when the 2000 election was declared in Bush's favor? Was it as bad as "It's just a godamned piece of paper"?

Ditto, without a doubt, will no longer turn the other cheek for the RINO's to slap with their pro illegal alien invasion BS.

In 1994 the GOP promised us specific changes. They have not kept their promises and will not defend our borders. I am going to vote for the Constitutional Party in November. dittos to that! Now, if between now and November a wall is built already and the borders secure, businesses hiring illegals are fined making it immpossible for illegals to find work in this country and they deport themselves by the millions, we start drilling our own oil and build new refineries so that the supply meets the demand and the crosses lost in this country under the GOP controlled government alone are put back up, then I too will be voting Constitutional Party.
Why NOT? I cant tell the difference lately between the GOP and the DEMS. To me it's all the same lately regarding domestic issues.

It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office....just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. TX: Then ya'll come on this thread to complain about the poll and the thread...WHY??
Why? Because sonora made an "observation" and "passed judgment" on members, besmirching them, all based on a poll. I made an observation OF the poll (that it is a push poll) and stated why it may be showing the results it does. That's why. If you want to call that whining, that's your choice.

I don't get it, either. If the Dems regain power, the first thing on their agenda will be to "cut and run" in Iraq and then they'll start the impeachment process against President Bush.
Or the other way around. Either way, it will be a bloodbath for the Iraqi & American people...and that's just for starters. ;)

Thanks for the link - now, that is really scary and so very stupid of those that will vote for "something" other than the Republican Party.
I also want the border closed - an effective wall works for me, but it's a huge political move with not just a little possible downside come election day.
With that said, I will vote Republican, regardless of the border scenario come November and beyond. It's all about core values, not one or two issues. Without the Republican Party, the one or two issue conservatives may as well be talking to a wall and deep down they know it. don't get me wrong, I'm conversative and I admire conservatives, but get real.

If it means anything, a lot of democrats I talk to ( the normal ones:') aren't all that happy with some of their leaders either.
