WHAT can save Hollywood from another summer of dire sequels and box office catastrophes?

Decent scripts, decent direction, and decent acting. Good luck finding any of that in Mission Impossible:3 and the other explosion laden dreck out there. The best movie of the summer is likely to be one that features no live actors - Pixar's animated feature "Cars".

My 10 year old son talked me into taking him and his best friend to see MI 3 after church tomorrow. However, I'm looking forward to Superman, Cars, and the Pirates sequel(Johnny Depp's all wet, yum!)
Other than that, this summer's movie season will be the worst yet in terms of box office, because there is no Star Wars or The Passion type blockbuster. The fools who think The DaVinci code will generate Passion-like are so moronic that words fail me.

I would be willing to settle for actors and actresses that don t hate the USA and actively work for her enemies.

But I still watch everything at home. The rudeness in theaters has driven me out permanently.

As far as I'm concerned last years best movie was Curse of the Wererabbit.

No joke.
