Let's see, I can make a buck and pay $0.23 in income taxes or I can make a buck and pay $0.23 in sales tax. Either way I have $0.77 worth of stuff.

But that's really not what AR was saying though, was it. He was saying there are people who have made a buck and paid $0.23 in income taxes who would then pay $0.18 in sales tax on that same dollar (they get $0.59 worth of stuff) if we switched to the FairTax.
