Garcia is one of my favorite actors. He's usually better than the film he's in, and if he's in it, I'll see it.

Could Andy Garcia be persuaded to enter politics?

He also looks more Italian than James Caan ever did.

Yep, I remember going to the neighborhood doctor at night and telling her to please give me something for my sister's pain only to have the doctor tell me there were no analgesics.
Free stuff tend to be expensive in the most unexpected ways.

I know the story, and I'm salivating at the chance to tell it... That was a couple of years ago, at the Mausoleum to Che Guevara in Villa Clara, Cuba. I think Che Guevara was pulling his leg, trying to drag him to the tomb.

What we need is a conservative run studio, not necessarily producing conservative works -- but producing entertaining flicks without any politics, and willing to hire actors who will speak out against the Hollywood establishment (and their new 'blacklist'). You're talking about Icon Productions.

The movie sucks. Garcia directed it and he comes off like Barbra Steisand with all the lingering close-ups. It was shot over two years ago and had distribution set-up but the finished film was so bad the distributor used the standards clause to get out.
Nothing to do with politics.

Che contemplated the genocide of the USA by way of nuclear war. Pure evil.

I just saw the oil platform in Che-ney's beret. As Grandpa would say, "me pone las tripas contentas" (my innards get happy) seeing that.
