I don't blame the cops for giving the guy a break, but once the story broke, Kennedy should have come clean.
Why do you feel it is okay for the cops to give Kennedy a break??
The cops did WRONG, by not doing their jobs...IMHO>
And, had Patrick not gotten "caught" this time...and kept driving under the influence and hurt or killed someone. those cops would have to take part of the blame...for not getting a dangerous person off the streets, for good.
Again, deffie, this is my opinion.
