68-Year-Old Jane Fonda Is New Face of L'Oreal
Jane Fonda is the surprise new face of L'Oreal, heading a lucrative advertising campaign at the age of 68.
The star joins a glittering list of celebrity spokesmodels including Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz after signing to front L'Oreal Paris anti-ageing treatment.
The $700,000 contract will see Fonda endorse the face cream on billboards and magazines, and the actress - who is a vocal critic of cosmetic surgery - insists she is perfect for the role.
She says, "Somebody's got to give a face to getting old. I'm going to try and organize other women in my profession and my friends to say no to the duck lips and getting rid of the wrinkles. I've just traveled through Sweden and Finland, looking at faces that were real ... as opposed to, in Hollywood, (where) everybody is starting to looking alike."

The traitor was fittingly hired by the French - L'Oreal (Paris)
If you say so.
I thought she was quite attractive at one time. It was the brain-dead Communist thing that was the turn-off.
I find the whole thing absurd. Think about it! Ole Janie and her actress buddies get various facelifts, eyelifts, chinlifts, tummy tucks, butt tucks, thigh tucks, followed by regular treatments of botox and restylane. Then cosmetic companies hire these plastics to get before the camera to entice the public to buy the one and only aging cream that none of their competitors can produce with these plastics like Janie saying to the audience: "OOOooooo, this cream will make everyone look younger. Look what it did for me!" Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! What a joke!
Get out the Bondo and fiberglass........
I can see it now: Jane Fonda's "Treason"...by L'Oreal.
It is not the ugly on the outside that is the problem, it is the ugly on inside.
The photos are airbrushed and touched up too. Women should not believe any cosmetic company claims unless they see the model in question in person and in full daylight.
I am torn, do I encourage a boycott and start writing to them ... or do I see if they can make that sk@nky troll look presentable, in which case they truly have a wonderful product.
From NBC17: A man who had waited in line at a book-signing in Kansas City for Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda spit tobacco juice in her face Tuesday night.
The suspect, Vietnam veteran Michael A. Smith, 54, Smith said that his actions were planned and he has no regrets. He said he's a Vietnam veteran still angry at Fonda for her trip to Hanoi in 1972.
"She's a traitor, and she cost the lives of a lot of good men," Smith, who was 19 when he was sent to fight in Vietnam, told KMBC-TV in Kansas City. "She didn't do anything to the government -- she slapped us in the face."
She is also spokesman for Hanson's Paint and Spackle. It all evens out.
Could it be that L'Oreal's new face cream contains tobacco juice?
TRAITOR!!
Leave it to the French to choose a traitor to be their spokesperson.
Bondo. Lots and lots of Bondo....
Awww comeon Jane has had so much 'plastic' surgery her butt
should have the trademark Tupperware stamped on it....
I thought she was eschewing makeup in favor of Red Man...
Best comment of the thread.
Thanks
I got an invite to a celebrity roast for her recently. I don't know how I got on that mailing list. I really missed my chance, I should have signed up and gone, and done something newsworthy but not jailworthy.
