Are you listening to Major Garret about the number of witnesses who saw Patches on the night in question??
But I thought he also said that without the sobriety test there would not be much on that aspect, either.
How many did they say?
And who are you gonna believe, a Kennedy who tells you that he mixed Phenegren and Ambien, or a bunch of drunks? :-)
All they need to figure this out is:
What was he wearing in the House the previous night, and what was he wearing when he wrecked?
If he was, ahem, "sleep driving", he surely wouldn't have put the same clothes back on would he? Tie and everything?
That said, I have familial and personal experience with addictions, and I hope he gets the help he needs, and actually makes it work this time. If for nothing else, then for his personal relationships.
But attempting to make it about healthcare is just pitiful.
Yes.
Garrett basically said DNC or similar pushed him to make the announcement so Kennedy can buy his way out of it by going to Mayo Clinic while you or I would face a DWI first.
What do you want to bet that the usual lamestream media idiots (I don't mean Major) who reported gleefully on the Bush twins, Nicole Bush, and Rush getting busted will complain that everybody is on a witch hunt with respect to Kennedy? I expect to see that sort of hypocrisy any minute now.
