Wow! Either this clown was totally pissed (British usage of the word) or he's so illiterate in his handwriting skills that he should not be allowed anywhere near the levers of power.

Let's wait to see if Patrick actually holds that press conference. I heard he was flying to Rhode Island to make the announcement in his home district.....lots of problems could cause him to cancel it. I mean, he's already cancelled two public engagements today.
But even if he holds a press conference in RI, in a roomful of staffers and supporters, it is not going to be played as big as it would be in DC

Word is that Rep. Kennedy has Rep. McKinney advising him and that he's going to claim that the Capitol Police were racially profiling him when they put that barricade in front of his car, causing the crash.

Ted Kennedy refused to comment on this, and he canceled his book signing today, but I don't think advisors would ask Teddy to stand with his son when he makes his announcement. Not a good reference!
Maybe Patrick will have his doctor at his side, to describe how Patrick has been plagued with "drive sleeping disorder" for years.

Booze, driving and getting away with murder are a Kennedy gene.
Isn't rape in the mix there?

I bet you has his wife with him...and announces he is entering a rehab program.
Just a hunch.
And Mary Jo is STILL unavailable for comment.

Turn your lie detectors on. I'm afraid mine would break.
Mine is stuck on 0. It was made in China during the Clinton administration.

Local RI radio reporting it will be a "medical issue" press conference...has changed his mind about returnibg to RI; PC is in DC

Er, my handwriting is almost as bad. I would try to find a sample from Swimmer Jr. while he's sober (not a safe assumption when dealing with a Kennedy) and compare the two before saying that proves he was drunk.
That having been said, I don't think they make Scotch-scented cologne.

Or drunk.
Or he learned to write from doctors.

I should have read Kristinn more closely. He says Patrick Kennedy's announcemenet will be made from Washington. That is in conflict with what I heard earlier on MSNBC, that he was flying to Rhode Island.
(Slapping myself gently on the wrist for the mistake.)

As if that matters--one can be charged with DUI for driving under the influence of cough syrup.
