This outfit is populist, not conservative. "Populist" basically means "embodying all the reasons why the founders of the American Republic feared and loathed 'democracy'".

Social conservatives and pro-free market people don't necessarily always go together. They're married here, but in other countries they often oppose one another.

Fundamentally, Capitalism isn't necessarily conservative, and social conservatives don't always understand economics.
