One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you.
Well I’ve been pounded by the media before and I’m still rockin’ and rollin’ and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not. And the truth is that the gutless, gonad-less, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don’t have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to the face reality.
And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegals in this country and turn around and say, “Oh it’s ok, ya’ll can stay here if you’ll just allow us to slap your wrist.”
And I know that some of you who read this column are saying “Well what’s wrong with that?” I’ll tell you what’s wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don’t know who they are, where they are or what they’re up to and the way the Congress is going we’re not going to.
Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well?
If these people were from Haiti or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them? I think not.
All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life. They don’t show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don’t tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegals some fat cat hired to pick his crop.
I want to make two predictions.
No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.
No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.
I don’t know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, “I don’t care who I make mad and I don’t care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I’m going to lead the fight to get it straightened out.”
I don’t blame anybody for wanting to come to America, but if you don’t respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others.
And by the way, this is America and our flag has stars and stripes. Please get that other one out of my face.
Pray for our troops
What do you think?
God Bless America

CHARLIE DANIELS '08
Charlie Daniels get's it Bump.
Someone finally has a pair. Too bad the media doesn't give him the same amount of face time the traitors get.
Actually I now consider such name as a compliment and mark of consideration
Tancredo/Daniels '08 :)
Charlie is awesome. I think he is the first public figure to openly state in the media that this thing could get bloody (I may be wrong, but this is the first I have heard it stated so directly and with refreshingly honesty.
That's it. I am a fan now.
Can he run for President?...:)
The "living conditions" are a matter of choice--the illegal knows that he can go home. Picking crops is honorable work, but working in fields drenched in pesticides for "fat cats", including ones of Mexican heritage, and the resultant health costs that the taxpayer becomes responsible for, that is the crime.
'Day without Immigrants' Not So Bad
May 4, 2006
The May 1 boycott didn't appear to faze most Americans. Most weren't even aware there was a boycott. Others said they appreciated the lighter traffic. A few were frustrated with the "lack of understanding" of most of the
illegal immigrants.
Ken Nada of Phoenix said he didn't know anything about the boycott. "I don't pay much attention to the news," said Nada. Living off of income from a trust fund set up by his grandfather, Nada said he spends most of his time getting stoned. "None of this stuff don't make no difference to me. My dealer is still working, so what do I care?"
Los Angeles resident Rodney King said he appreciated the faster work commute. "Usually it takes me an hour to get to work," said King. "Today, I got to work in half the time. I wish every day was a boycott."
In Chicago, Democratic campaign worker Howie Connum expressed frustration at his inability to get many of the protestors to register to vote. "These morons think that because they are here illegally and don't speak English
that they shouldn't vote," said a fuming Connum. "I tell them that their votes are a way to safe guard their rights, but they have an overblown fear of getting caught. There's a basic lack of understanding about how the system works."
Boycott organizers' hopes of sending a message have produced a response that makes it difficult to determine whether the message was received as intended. "We were hoping that fear of unmowed lawns, unmade beds and
unfried tacos would cause Americans to rethink their racist opposition to open borders," said Delictivo Abogar, one of the organizers of the Miami demonstration. "But I guess it will take more time before the importance of these essential services penetrates the thick gringo skulls of the Norte
Americanos."
In related news, the United Front for the Liberation of Aztlan renewed its demand that the Mexican national anthem be played before all sporting events taking place in the states currently known as California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. "For the time being, until we have reclaimed our land, both anthems can be played," said Hernando Cortes, spokesman for UFLA. "After that, we'll see."

Charlie Daniels ping
Hooah for Charlie!
I think I'll go listen to Devil Went Down To Georgia, and send another round of emails and whatnot to our fine (ha) congressmen..
Ok, Chaz! Well, good luck with that!!!
I am a legal immigrant working in the US on a H1B visa. I know that many people on free republic does not have a high opinion of the H1B visa holders. However The US congress has promulgated this visa statute and I have played by the rules.I have payed federal and state income taxes. I have not availed any benifits from Social security/medicare. I am not a burden on the American social services.I have no criminal convictions. I never even had a speeding ticket. I am pro life..I consider myself a conservative..I am for small government. I believe that people should have a right to bear arms..
I am waiting for my green card for a number of years. I have enough available to put a down payment on a house but I would not dare to buy due to the uncertainties involved in the whole immigration processes. I have suffred a lot due to the complicated immigration procedures and delays in this country. After a certain time period I would not have any option but to pack up and go home. Please note that I am sure that my job would follow me to my country of origin. That would be a net loss to this country. Please support legal immigration. In the brouhaha of illegal immigration, I am noticing that no one is paying attention to the problems legal immigrants are facing....I understand that not many people would care about what I am saying but still have to try....
PLEASE SUPPORT LEGAL IMMIGRATION
