That's easy...if they are in session, they are up to no good!
I'm guessing the top brass is in contact with Teddy and his lawyers on how to deal with this
I wonder if Teddy will be giving any speeches on the Senate Floor today .. *L*
I have been watching, just in case :) I'm pretty confident that he won't show his face. He was supposed to read this book about his dog, Splash, to some children today and that has been cancelled. I'll bet he is disappointed he has to forego the opportunity to say ugly things about the President.
I just heard on FNC that Teddy cancelled his two events in NY today and has no comment about Patches problem
he's hiding *L*
Good Point! I'll try to monitor when they are worse than usual and ping all you mid country and right coast folks!! ;>) Sounds like I'll be busy! LOL
Would that be from Frisco, Texas or Frisco, Colorado?? ;>)
Morning, Clint!
Morning Fox!
I'm sure overlooking giving the young Mr. Kennedy a breathalizer was just an oversight! After all, the Police were busy at that time of the morning!! Who could possibly have thought that someone almost running over a Police Officer and ramming into a concrete divider would be under the influence! Where were the signs? Who knew!!
Isn't that what they always do? It's SOP for the Kennedys.
First they have to call ALL their advisors in and brainstorm how to handle it; then he'll come on TV, probably in a living room setting, and have a "heart to heart" talk with all of the country.
I'm so tired of this long therapy session we've had with this family for the last 30 plus years.
"He was supposed to read this book about his dog, Splash, to some children today and that has been cancelled."
Maybe he's busy writing his new book about his family called "Crash"?? ;>)
Funny, he thought it OK to vote while under the influence. That certainly may explain why some of the bills voted out of Congress seem so nutty!
Voting under the influence is the only way he knows to vote.....learned everything about being a "Public Servant" from his Dad!! ;>)
Appear to be the last one here.....will turn out the lights!! ;>)
Isn't that the truth ? ! They'll probably give the interview to Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer... soft focus lens, soft lighting, cozy room, lots of old "Camelot" clips and photos. We have dysfunctional families in all walks of life but this particular family has become a pox on this country. Its time for ALL of them to give up their driver's licenses, retire from public life and set up a rehab center at that vaunted Hyannis "compound". The country needs a break from their endless soap opera and all of the Kennedys need therapy.
So....you've seen this "show" before?
I'm picturing soft yellow sofas, perhaps a fireplace in the background, are you?
Or they could go for the Gold and have him sitting in a Adirondack chair on the lawn of the "compound" in Hyannisport, with the sound in the background. Perhaps a dog or two. Open collar buttondown shirt, maybe yellow to highlight the redness in his hair.
What do you think? How I'm doing?
The interior option should have lots of family photos in silver frames on every table and a bronze bust of President Kennedy.
The exterior option would surely have the camera pan slowly past the flag pole out to the water where a graceful sailboat bearing the simply initials JFK passes by. Of course, the crowning piece of stage craft would be the sound of a new generation of Kennedys romping through a game of touch football.
Aw, heck, it all just to heart tugging and memory invoking to choose, they'll have to do a two part segment, one inside, one outside.
Well, he'll probably have to do a two parter anyway; the first "explanation" never works. (See last night for example.)
The Kennedy bust is a brillant touch; but since we already have that, perhaps a small plane circling it he background OVER the sound to, of course, invoke the memory of John John.
And, of course, the pictures in the frames would be Rose (not Joe) and Jackie (not Joan).
I dunno, thought about including the sound of a plane but just couldn't go there.
