Drinkin' doubles don't make a party, Patches.
Heard on the Howie Carr show: difference between the other night and Chappaquiddick is that Ted was on his way to a boat (Chapp. Ferry) while Patches was on his way to a vote.

If Patches Kennedy were a dog...no, wait, this is one of his drinking buddies, a Mr. Brian Griffin of Quahog, RI...

Very funny, good one! Now he is admitting that he was taking prescription drugs, including Ambien, a sleep medication. This dude has more problems than Job. We just had a thread posted days ago about his wreck in RI. I bet he was on drugs then. Are his constituents really that stupid?
The left crucified Rush, but I bet we don't hear anything about this dolt's abuse of scrip drugs. If we do, it will be all soggy sympathy.

His father, Ted, was the runt of the litter, and Patches is the runt of the litter of the runt of the litter. And the martini olive doesnt fall far from the tree.

I am really surprised that Patrick didn't just come out and say that he was "just testing the security barriers". It would certainly beat "my drugs done me wrong". I wonder if he will be investigated for doctor shopping.

Just think what the MSM would be doing if Rush had been driving the car and not Patches! They'd be absolutely giddy.

Talk radio's all over it (well, maybe not libtalk...)
http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com/
"For talk radio hosts seeking fresh fodder, it was just what the doctor ordered: yet another flap involving Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), son of the notorious Teddy (D-Chappaquidick).
"Call it talk's instant battery recharge. How could anyone resist this one?
"Late Thursday, news spread like wildfire that Rep. Kennedy had been involved in his second car accident in just the past two weeks, this time at 3am, near the Capitol.
"Unlike his father's infamous 1969 wreck, there were no fatalities this time.
"One striking similarity, however: in all three crashes, based on available details, favoritism allegations seem to have substantial merit."

Are his constituents really that stupid? Hey, I try, dammit!
Blame the national GOP. They never run anybody with a snowball's chance against this dipstick. Seriously. Big gripe of mine. You know half of what makes the blue states so blue? The Party doesn't even try. Doesn't want to waste the moxy on an unsure bet, I guess.

I'd rather go hunting with Cheney than clubbing with Patches.

Since when did we grant diplomatic immunity to the runt of the litter's runt of the litter?
Can anyone reading this tell me that after being in a crash at 3AM and staggering out of their car they would be given a ride home (without a sobriety test to boot)?

The picture below is difficult to view, but it demonstrates that what this Kennedy did was no joke.

Howie would always hint this particular Kennedy is gay. I'll bet he was coming home from a gay bar

My crystal ball sees a lawsuit against the maker of Ambien - "they should have known" - as well as legislation to protect us from those who can't read the warning labels!
