Blame the national GOP. They never run anybody with a snowball's chance against this dipstick. Seriously. Big gripe of mine. You know half of what makes the blue states so blue? The Party doesn't even try. Doesn't want to waste the moxy on an unsure bet, I guess.

How true! In the 2004 campaign I had a hard time even getting one Bush yard sign. I kept calling the local campaign office and they kept saying they hadn't received any yet. Still, as soon as I got one, several neighbors asked HOW I had done it and they put them up, too. We took our sign in every night and put it up in the morning because we knew we could never replace it.
