The Minneapolis school district suspended a boy in second grade after his teacher found mysterious pills had been placed in her water bottle, the district said.
School district spokesman Josh Collins said the teacher was fine. She noticed something was wrong and did not drink out of the bottle on Monday.
The incident was reported to school district officials on Tuesday and the student was suspended for five days. "This type of threat is not ever tolerated," he said.
Collins said the matter had been referred to the police. "At this time, we don't know what the pills were," he said.

I figure they were birth control pills. The kid knew the teacher was hitting on him about having sex and wanted to be prudent .

Thomas Edison chopped up worms and tried to trick his mother into eating them. He wanted to see if eating worms would enable a person to fly, reasoning that birds eat worms and birds can fly. A good example, by the way of the logical fallacy called
post hoc, propter hoc by ancient philosophers.

Bingo. They always hate it when the kids drug the teachers but not the other way around.

My daughter had a teacher's aide in 2nd grade who would put a paper napkin over her beverage. I thought it was ridiculous at the time but now I know why!
