I received this from former freeper donnalyn. It came from JudyB1938 son Victor:

Last Friday mom went in for a routine heart catherization for clogged arteries. The doctor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that she had to have an immediate triple bypass. She recovered, as expected, the next day. Then, on Monday, she has fluid build up around the heart and coded. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and she is now effectively brain dead. She will be taken off of life support tomorrow.

This is so scary to have happen to a person. My prayers are going up.

I don't like hearing things like this, since my daughter who is 46 and quite over weight, just found out she has a heart murmer. Normally most murmers are nothing to be concerned about, but since heart problems run on my husbands side of the family and since his aortic valve malfunction started out by the doctor discovering a murmer, I am concerned. She will be going on the first of June for an ultra sound.
