I received this from former freeper donnalyn. It came from JudyB1938 son Victor:
Last Friday mom went in for a routine heart catherization for clogged arteries. The doctor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that she had to have an immediate triple bypass. She recovered, as expected, the next day. Then, on Monday, she has fluid build up around the heart and coded. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and she is now effectively brain dead. She will be taken off of life support tomorrow.
Judy B lasted posted on 4/25/06 and on 4/21/06 actually posted on Heart Disease the focus shifts to women. You can see her posts here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=20872.
Prayers for Judy and her family...
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
I will be praying for Judy and her family especially.
Thank you Victor so much. I didn't get to say goodbye to my Dad either. But she knows how you feel and she was very proud of her children. She is a wonderful lady. Jean
I also know the pain of losing a mother unexpectedly, but believe God will send unexpected healing and love as a balm for this difficult situation. I join with all the hands and hearts now praying for comfort and healing for all of her friends and family in these painful hours.
Very nice trubute. Thank you.
Our prayers are with you. It is so hard when the unexpected happens.
I never had the privilage of meeting her, but have had my experience in losing those closest.
Thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
My prayers for the family. Very sad. Sounds similar to how we lost my FIL this January.

We entrust Judy and her family to the care of our loving Father in heaven.
Prayers on the way.
I am so sorry for the sudden passing of your wonderful Mom. May she rejoice with those waiting to meet her behind the veil! God Bless all of you. And don't regret so much what you didn't get a chance to say one last time...she knew you loved her deeply.
God Bless all of you.
My condolences and prayers for comfort for the family.
Psalm 34
Ping.
Ping. Judy's profile page is cheery and upbeat. I didn't know her but God bless her loved ones.
How do I get on the Lutheran list?
Christ our eternal King and God, You have destroyed death and the devil by Your Cross and have restored man to life by Your Resurrection; give rest, Lord, to the soul of Your servant Judy who has fallen asleep, in Your Kingdom, where there is no pain, sorrow or suffering. In Your goodness and love for all men, pardon all the sins she has committed in thought word or deed, for there is no man or woman who lives and sins not, You only are without sin.
For You are the Resurrection, the Life, and Repose of Your servant Judy, departed this life, O Christ our God; and to You do we send up glory with Your Eternal Father and Your All-holy, Good and Life-creating Spirit; both now and forever and to the ages of ages.
Amen
Please add me to the Lutheran Ping List.
Like you, I got to spend the last three years of my mom's life with her, being her helper and friend. She also died unexpectedly from heart related things, caused in part from her diabetes.
This brings back that tumble of memories that sad time was.
But two or three nights after my mom passed on, I had a dream where she was holding me, rocking me like a baby, and telling me it was alright. And an amazing amount of comfort came with that dream, the knowledge that she was in the hand of God and free from the body that had failed her.
Your mom is going to where she will no longer be constrained, but be in the hand of one who loves her. The separation is hard, but the result is good.
May God's peace come and touch all of your hearts in that special way and know we care and are praying for you.
