Generally, military personnel are not to bring their troubles to the press in uniform. Kinda like the arm-chair generals lately huh? They may not have actually been in uniform, but everyone was calling them "GENERAL" so and so, and everyone KNEW they were military and GENERALS.

They were retired just like you and once out of uniform are free to express their opinion as you also express your opinion. Before your retirement how many direct orders did you disobey?
