There is a logical explanation for Professor Sally Jacobsen's visceral reaction to crosses erected on the Northern Kentucky University campus commemorating babies killed by legalized abortion: She might be a vampire.
I've done some research on vampires, and I think I'm right on this.
On April 12, Jacobsen apparently became so agitated by the "Cemetery of Innocents," as the university-approved display was called by the student pro-life group that constructed it, she instigated a small mob of students to trash 400 of the little white crosses in broad daylight.
Demonstrating quite the vengeful streak, Jacobsen further instructed her students to scatter the broken crosses across the campus to make them more difficult to reconstruct.
Jacobsen told the Cincinnati Enquirer she was teaching a class when she became "outraged" after spotting the exhibit on a knoll outside. She then incited her students to join her in exercising their constitutional free destruction rights, heretofore understood to be free speech rights, but only during break and not during class time, she said.
Reported the Enquirer:
She said she was infuriated by the display, which she saw as intimidating and a "slap in the face" to women who might be making "the agonizing and very private decision to have an abortion" ...
Pulling up the crosses was similar to citizens taking down Nazi displays on Fountain Square, she said.
"Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it. Some of my students felt the same way, just outraged," Jacobsen said.
Now before pronouncing Jacobsen a tad over-reactive, liberals would tell us to spend a day wearing a vampire's fangs.
All right.
We know vampires live off the blood of innocents. And we also know that for 33 years abortion-industry vampires have lived off the highest volume of shed innocent human blood in world history 45 million babies killed in America alone, with 3,500 added to that number every day.
Yes, I guess if I were an abortion vampire, I would react strongly to a threatened supply cutoff.
Actually, there has been an outbreak of violence on American college campuses against pro-life displays this spring, leading me to believe that the Future Vampires of America are indeed alarmed.
In March, vandals at Baylor University stole 3,500 pink and blue flags from a pro-life display during the night, replacing a sign that said, "In loving memory of 3,500 children aborted daily in the United States," with a sign stating, "Abortion saves 7,000 adult lives every day."
You see?
Also in March, Harvard University pro-aborts repeatedly defaced or stole pro-life posters on campus depicting the growth of embryo "Elena." A college newspaper editorial decried the posters, stating they "misrepresent[ed] the pro-choice members of this campus as bloodthirsty baby killers."
Yes, the best defense is a good offense, and condemning the truth as a lie is about as far as one can take that strategy.
Two weeks ago, vandals at Princeton University destroyed 347 pink and blue flags representing students from the Class of 2010 who "didn't make it" because they were aborted, stated a sign at the pro-life exhibit. The thugs replaced the flags with coat hangers and signs stating, "347 rusty coat hangers were saved from mangling and mutilation," and "Support smaller class sizes: support abortion."
Remarkable about Jacobsen's vandalistic exploits is that she has been suspended from her job, and she and her minions are being prosecuted. University leaders usually look the other way.
So Jacobsen will be forced to defend her crime against the light of day, which should be interesting if she really is a vampire.
And as pro-aborts increasingly and so clearly juxtapose their malicious intent against the sensibility of the pro-life position, another nail will be driven into the coffin that is abortion.
"I agree. Let's start with Darwin fish, rainbow decals, and weathered Kerry/Edwards '04 stickers.
She might not go for that."
Yeah, you think I'll be treated any different if I were to take a bat to any car with a "kerry/edwards" sticker?
Do they want to be men so badly that they would deny one of the many things that make women so very special on this earth?
"Why sir, I do believe he has consumed bones and feathers..."
Meanwhile, here in the real world, the same horrible things that led to the original poetic tales go on and are their proper context.
P.S. Shakespeare is made up, too! Film at 11!
"Support smaller class sizes: support abortion."
Sick and disgusting.
Hope this makes it to the Moral Absolutes ping list!!
Jill's ability to nail the wicked to the wall, slays me!
I did ping the MA list (post #5).
I wonder how many of these student abortion activists would be willing to die if their families all of a sudden decided that they could no longer afford the high costs of tuition, and decided to retroactively abort their children before graduation.
My daughter graduates from college this weekend, she's married, sexually responsible, and has never needed to think about an abortion. She gets that from her parents.
Congratulations to you and your daughter!
Someone should wangle their way to the press with that one.
Cheers!
When you read the descriptions of the behavior of some pro-choice agitators at pro-life marches, you really begin to wonder if some of them are indeed demonically possessed.
Just goes to show that the violence doesn't stop with their abortions.
Logic is optional. Feelings rule.
"Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it."
Lady, I don't give a sh*t how you feel. I'm more concerned about the children who are being converted to hamburger on a daily basis.
You're so hetero-centric. It's "partner 1" and "partner 2," or better yet, "Thing 1 and Thing 2."
Seen at various pro-life marches/prayer vigils:
-A group of art students waving a 20ft. inflatable phallus in front of a group of praying nuns.
-A group of people, who I can only imagine were satanists, holding signs saying, "Kill Jesus!," and "Eat babies!" No joke. They looked like they had walked off the set of "Night of the Living Dead."
-John Kerry pitching at a softball game on Boston Common as the March for Life paraded around the Common. I stood behind the backstop with my pro-life sign and stared at him.
Since the murder of a child can only originate in Hell, it should not be all that surprising, I suppose, that those promoting the genocide with giddy enthusiasm should display other demonic manifestations. Pretty disturbing stuff. You do feel the creepy presence and atmosphere of evil around people who have dedicated their lives to promoting abortion.
