As St. Paul put it we wrestle with "powers and principalities."
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
(Ephesians 6:12, NKJV)
Powers and prinicpalities not necessarily exclusive to men (John 12:31). Radical pro-aborts seem to have a supernatural hatred against anything associated with challenging, restricting, or ceasing the practice of abortion.
It is curious, as you pointed out, that they went after crosses.

She might not go for that."
Yeah, you think I'll be treated any different if I were to take a bat to any car with a "kerry/edwards" sticker?

You need to get out more.
I try, but they keep sucking me back in. Do you take everything you read about cartoon vampires this seriously?
Of course the myths are morality tales.
The myths are part morality tale, part Eastern European superstition. Oddly, you seem to have passed over my "Count Chocula" reference which, perhaps, might have given you a key to the context.
But the rulers who inspired them actually did plant forests of human beings on top of stakes and lay entire provinces waste, out of little more than their own love of cruelty. Calling that a taste for human blood is perfectly accurate poetry.
You neglected to mention Stoker's reinvention of Dracula. The modern vampire has undergone a lot of changes since Vlad the Impaler, and the whole notion is silly. You've taken a jest between two posters far too seriously!

Frankly, I cannot understand why women are not proud of the fact that they - and only they - are capable of bringing a new person into the world.
Do they want to be men so badly that they would deny one of the many things that make women so very special on this earth?

No, but if you were wearing a union shirt and it was a Bush/Cheney sticker, I imagine she would call in Barry Bonds.

Thank you for articulating my thoughts so accurately. Bingo.
Sorry, but which thoughts did you have in mind?

lol.
Meanwhile, here in the real world, the same horrible things that led to the original poetic tales go on and are their proper context.
P.S. Shakespeare is made up, too! Film at 11!

The twisted truth regarding feminists defending the abortion rite is half the children slaughtered are females. Makes you wonder whom they really value, if anyone but their selfish self.

Support smaller class sizes: support
RETROACTIVE abortion
I wonder how many of these student abortion activists would be willing to die if their families all of a sudden decided that they could no longer afford the high costs of tuition, and decided to retroactively abort their children before graduation.
My daughter graduates from college this weekend, she's married, sexually responsible, and has never needed to think about an abortion. She gets that from her parents.

Beat me to it.
Someone should wangle their way to the press with that one.
Cheers!

When you read the descriptions of the behavior of some pro-choice agitators at pro-life marches, you really begin to wonder if some of them are indeed demonically possessed.
Just goes to show that the violence doesn't stop with their abortions.

Beats the sh*t out of me! Logic is optional. Feelings rule.
"Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it."
Lady, I don't give a sh*t how you feel. I'm more concerned about the children who are being converted to hamburger on a daily basis.

I guess they are saying the prospective "mama" & "papa" can get back to their sex life without worrying about baby. You're so hetero-centric. It's "partner 1" and "partner 2," or better yet, "Thing 1 and Thing 2."

When you read the descriptions of the behavior of some pro-choice agitators at pro-life marches, you really begin to wonder if some of them are indeed demonically possessed. Seen at various pro-life marches/prayer vigils:
-A group of art students waving a 20ft. inflatable phallus in front of a group of praying nuns.
-A group of people, who I can only imagine were satanists, holding signs saying, "Kill Jesus!," and "Eat babies!" No joke. They looked like they had walked off the set of "Night of the Living Dead."
-John Kerry pitching at a softball game on Boston Common as the March for Life paraded around the Common. I stood behind the backstop with my pro-life sign and stared at him.

Since the murder of a child can only originate in Hell, it should not be all that surprising, I suppose, that those promoting the genocide with giddy enthusiasm should display other demonic manifestations. Pretty disturbing stuff. You do feel the creepy presence and atmosphere of evil around people who have dedicated their lives to promoting abortion.
