Fed up with the Mexican illegals and their supporters, many of whom are Mexicans also (those who didn't support the illegals were rather quiet)?
Boycott Cinco de Mayo. Stay away from everything Mexican on May 5th. Don't buy Mexican beers.
What about Tacos and Enchilladas?
LOL. That song tells me that it surprised and bothered her a lot more than she'll ever let on about how "the boys in Lubbock" (as George W. Bush calls them) and the "pulse of the nation" (as George H.W. Bush refers to Lubbock) reacted to her "pendejada".
You should read the diaries of General A.W.Terrell Maximilien did not get how despised he was by Mexican peasnants. He was so much like George Bush.
Distinctly Texan.
I'm getting hungry just looking at that beautiful hodgepodge of victuals.
Better explain that one to the Germans:

Some beers are built for in the glass additions.
Without the origins of Cinco de Mayo, the Confederates would have won the Civil War and it is doubtful our county would be as strong as it is today.
Well, I'm not really much of a beer drinker. I like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Otter Creek Copper Ale, and Anchor Steam Beer among others, but my ultimate hot weather favorites are Pilsners - especially Pilsner Urquell.
So much for French chivalry. Hopefully the trees are still growing straight and tall, providing shade for generations of your family - fertilizing our arbors is about the most useful thing such Frenchmen can do.
I agree everone should own at least one mexican.
"Cinco de mayo, is a mexican holiday not an American holiday and should never be celebrated."
Makes me wonder if the 4th of July is celebrated in Mexico, recognizing American Independence. I'm guessing not.
"Mexican immigrants are fine. It's the illegal immigrants that are not fine. Let's not boycott an entire country because of the actions of illegals."
OK. We'll only boycott beers made by illegals. Feel better? Was Monday's fiasco boycotting only Republicans or racists, or selective Americans?
The whole government and oligarchy of Mexico is corrupt. Boycott eveything Mexican.
NO VACATIONS IN MEXICO!
Thanks, but it's SW Texas (the "outback"; the "badlands"). NO TREES get too tall there. The land was sold long ago, but it would be interesting to try to find those 2 trees.
From the A-B website:
Mexico is also an excellent market for Anheuser-Busch. It is the world's second largest beer market in operating profits, behind only the United States, and has experienced strong volume growth over the past five years, growing an average of 2 ½ percent per year, Baker said. Anheuser-Busch has a 50 percent stake in Modelo, which has a 56 percent share of the Mexican beer market and its Corona brand is the No. 1 import in the United States.
Our international beer segment is making a significant contribution to
Anheuser-Busch's earnings growth, and we are strategically well positioned for long-term growth with our expanded position in China and our 50 percent ownership of Modelo, observed Baker.
But can Modelo keep sales of Corona from going flat? At first glance, you would hardly think this was an issue for 38-year-old CEO Carlos Fernández. The family-run brewer, in which Anheuser-Busch Cos. (BUD ) holds a 50.2% stake, commands a leading 56% share of the Mexican beer market through a portfolio of brands that also includes Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, Victoria, and Pacífico.

FWIW, although BUD owns 50%, control of the company lies with the Modelo owners (I don't know how ... I think it stems from an legal decision in the early 90's).
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo 20 years ago in my spanish class (up in Oregon) but now that I live in Phoenix it is a pretty big event. An upscale mexican restaurant up the street from my office has one of the biggest parties I have ever seen put on by any restaurant. They charge an entry fee just to walk in the door, like a club would. The funny part, except for employees, you dont see mexicans there either.
