Ray Robison, who has major work on the Harmony Database translation project is going to be posting less on his eponymous website Ray Robison. The reason is one to celebrate rather than mourn: he is writing a book on the translations. Follow the link above and leave a comment in the comments section, to show your support for seeing the book reach print. http://rayrobison.typepad.com/ray_robison/2006/05/announcement.html

Hello freepers, I am pleased to announce that freeper Jveritas (Joseph) has agreed to combine forces with a team of us at www.rayrobison.com who are developing a book project for the Iraq documents. We are currently speaking with literary agents and creating the proposal. I have asked Joseph to bring all his freepers together to comment either in this post or on mine, to communicate their desire to see this book get published. I believe this is a first attempt to use the blogosphere to create a petition to get a book published. If we can show the publishers thousands of expressions of support, we just might get it done. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to help us out.

Unless you're going through all 48,000 boxes of information before you write the book, I'm guessing you're planning for a sequel?

bingo! that is important for getting a book published now a days...
To: jveritas
Does this mean the documents won't be posted on FR as frequently either? Will you be holding back certain documents for the book and not posting them?

What you are all doing for our country deserves a book so your efforts may be appreciated by many.

this is a great point, my intention was to make a companion DVD if there are any videos that provide value to the non-arabic speakers. I had put in a FOIA request to DIA for some videos last summer, and if that ever gets released, it may be in the book or sequals.

Personally, I appreciate that, though I'd have understood if your answer had been the opposite. If it were me and I found the in the documents the map that shows where the WMD are buried, I'd probably save that for the book ...

you could probably sell it to Fox for a million and not even have to write the book... LOL

Please included in the book specific quotes from Democrats exposing their lies.
On Hannity, Lifeguard Ted actually said that "We were told we would find nuclear weapons." The president did not say that.
