Oh GeeBee.. a simply lovely thread on one of my favorite places.. THE BEACH! and this thread/pix make me even more homesick for it. Lived at coast on many occasions. Now we have Lake Erie, which can't compare but is water & it nearby.

I was there yesterday with Toby & Josy & friend. Here is a pix of Josy investigating if this smells bad enough to roll in.

I was thinking of you and your dogs when I did this thread. I know you do a lot of outings. This is where I bring my dog all the time. Your picture is great. Thanks. Josy is beautiful. :)

I was bought up by the beach from birth until about 12 apart from one year.

Do you use the term seaside we tend to say we are going to the seaside more often than the beach.

The beech is where the pebbles and or the sand is but the area is the seaside.

Also if I remember correcetly you say waterfront not seafront.

Dolly, love the picture of Josy and the fish. There's something else in that picture that looks like some sort of animal's leg! :( I'm sure it isn't. I hope it isn't. It's about in the middle of the picture and just to the right of Josy.

Pretty, soft colors of this picture - would have looked great on GeeBee's opening post! :)
