Good Morning E.G.C.
I guess when it finally rains there it rains. Stay safe with those storms coming. We finally have our rain. I hope it's enough here though.
Hugs!

Well, the news reports that there is to be an investigation of possible price gouging. Prez Bush says he will not tolerate price gouging.

I'm off to dodge the raindrops. (On the west coast of Ohio, we know how to run between them.) ... I'm heading over to visit the daughter and grandkids. (I suppose I'll say "hi" to the son-in-law, too, if he gets home from work before I leave.) ;)

Good morning and (((HUGS))) EG. WOW! More storms? I guess it's that time of year, huh? Be safe! As, for me, I'm still trying to catch up on paperwork.

We had some strong storms in the area here last night, but not right at our house. We could see lightning all around us, but all we got was a little rain. Today is supposed to be very nice -- highs in the upper 70s/low 80s. You can see the pollen floating around -- achoooooo! :o)

Well, like I say, the refineries or distributors may be up to something, but it would be a really stupid thing for them to do. If they're doing it, They're gonna lose all the profit they made plus the fines they'll have to pay.
The downside: they won't be out any money, becuase they'll just recoup their losses from us.

Mornin' to you, tomkow6. Our new grass is really starting to grow with all this rain. By the time we get some clear weather and dry ground again my lawn will be well past the mowing stage.

Unfortunately, Mayor, we're all guilty of concentrating on the World. It's part of our human nature. It's just one more reason to be thankful for God's grace and promise.
We had too much rain through the weekend to do anything about the lawn. We'd seeded some repaired spots only a week ago Sunday so it was gratifying to see the new grass coming up only a week later. Our lawn is small so it doesn't take much to mow, but I use a rider as I have heart problems and can't push a mower. Still, I look forward to getting out there once a week, if not more often. At least we were able to get our first application of weed & feed on just before the rain came. The timing was great!
I'll be off line for awhile now. Have things to do & bills to pay. And, the OTHER German Shorthair in the house needs a new bag of food or I'll never see the last of it.
Take care, everyone!

Good morning, Canteeners, Cubies, Newbies & Troops! I remember precious little of Japan during my time in the Navy. I was set to transfer to another ship at the time, so Yokosuka was a gigantic going-away party and I leave to your imaginations how it went! Suffice it to say, the next morning they had to pour me onto the train. Thirty years ago, I was on the USS Farragut preparing for REFTRA at Guantanamo and looking forward to R & R in Ft. Lauderdale to be followed by being part of the Tall Ships event for the Bicentennial. There WERE many good times that I wouldn't trade for anything. In other news, the "boycott" seemed to be nothing but a bunch of hot air in the DC area, but I DID succeed at "Not One Damn Nacho" Day. Hope you all are in the midst of a great day!
