Open letter to NC Republicans: Vote for Armor in the 2006 Primary.
Brainshrub.com ^ | April 25, 2006 | Paul -V-

Posted on 05/01/2006 12:55:59 PM PDT by Paul -V-

This will be my first, and last, post on FreeRepublic for a very long time.

I am an unabashed Liberal. However, I want to assure the mods that I am not here to do any trolling. In fact, I just wanted to say a few nice words about Freeper John Armor. (aka April 25, 2006 "Congressman Billybob.")

If you live in NC District 11 and are a Republican, please vote for John Armor in this weeks primary race.

As a yellow-dog Democrat, I will never vote for Armor; but he is a man of integrity and will not accept bribes.

My entire "semi-endorsement" letter is here:

http://www.brainshrub.com/taylor-armor-primary

I won't republish the entire thing here because, like I wrote earlier, I don't want to case any flame wars or get "Zotted." I'm just here to plug a man I'd never vote for, but have to admit that he is better than the incumbent.

I understand the rules for this forum, so I won't be posting here again.

Thank you.

So, basically you won't follow the expectations you have of others all because of the label you place on yourself.. yep, typical dem.. never can leave your little labeled box, even the values you claim conflict with that label.

Your ringing endorsement could be seen as a ploy to sink his campaign.

Well, it is the best post I have seen from a Liberal on this website.

I will give you Kudos (not Kujo the angry mutt) on your post.

So...what's your point? That you're a flathead imbecile, or just retarded?

Then why not vote for him yourself. Voting along party lines purely because because of party is the most undemocratic thing a person can do.

Then why not vote for him yourself.

One reason would be that North Carolina has closed primaries, and this guy's obviously registered Democrat. He might hypothetically vote for Armor in the general, but I wouldn't bet on that being an option..

PS. And if I had to venture a guess, if this guy's actually a Democrat, then probably he's just hoping to help lower Taylor's percentage so that he'll be weaker going into the general against Shuler.
