Anna thought the joke about needing more lerts was a real suggestion and asked him to be one.

Well said. The son doesn't have a leg to stand on. I hate rich kids who never accomplished nothing themselves, waiting until Daddy passes so he can party at the Hamptons every weekend.

Justices gave new legal impetus to Smith's bid to collect millions of dollars from the estate of J. Howard Marshall II. Ok, she just became hot again.

All accumulated wealth acquired during the marriage goes to Anna. Right. But she is going for half of his estate which is half of what he has accumulated throughout his life. She is not legally entitled to that. She can only inherit that and that inheritance was voided when he willed everything to his son.

She never warmed his bed. She wouldn't sleep with him.

So the law be damned right? There are reasons why two courts gave her nothing.

So you have more respect for golddiggers? You don't like the idea of a man passing on his hard earned wealth to his son?

Her side says otherwise. IAC, as the Bible says about David's last bedfellow, he knew her not.

Are all convicted felons evil? Like Chuck Colson? His Christian faith is an inspiration.

You don't think he was entitled to a spend every dime he made? A fool and his money are soon parted--unless you have so much of it.

I don't know what she's going for now, but if Pierce wasn't so stubborn, she was willing to accept the probate decision which was something like $400M.
He and his siblings would have still had the bulk for themselves to fight over.

So the law be damned right? There are reasons why two courts gave her nothing. Last I checked the law says that if you're married to a billionaire (for over a year, even) and he dies and you're in his will, you get some of his money.
The Supreme Court agrees with me.

The right person who is connected can do anything they want in the Texas courts. If the son was smart he would give her due.

She was not in his will. He willed everything to his son. And the Supreme Court simply said that she should have the right to take her case to federal court. They rendered no decision on the case.

Hey, good for Anna! The law of bankruptcy requites debtors to list their assets and liabilities. She listed her inheritance as an asset and the federal district court will now decide what her ass....er....ets consist off. The superior jurisdiction of the federal court over a Texas probate court will dictate the outcome of this case.
And for those who dislike Smith, I would sooner look at her than Billory any day of the week, or any night as well!
