Actually, the jackrabbits would take issue with that. Heck, at our place, they still think it's theirs. However, recently grackles have invaded and are annoying residents that jackrabbits aren't willing to annoy.
Hopefully, there will be no amnesty for the grackles. :-)
I recall the problem that San Antonio had with them when I lived there. At one point, the cops were firing blanks and shooting firecrackers into the trees.
