That is a lovely report, Eleanor. I recall as a youngster studying about MayDay & the maypole dancers etc. Wonderful tradition.
Here the biggie is in a few days (cinco de mayo).. not sure how all the immigration conflicts will affect that. We have a decent sized hispanic population here & they seem to mix well with all..Plan to go to a mexican restaurant owned by Marcellita(restaurant name) and her gringo hubby. Friends for 35 years.
I love going to the mexican restaurants & enjoy the mariachi bands.
Just got back from a wilderness survival course. I think I could have taught it but then again, it is good to have the reinforcement of your instinct.
Need to visit Dose quickly & write up my report for the Bethesda FReep. so far I just did pix. I also need to do all pix & report for both the WHite HOuse Media FReep & also the Walter Reed FReep.
the problem with taking 350+ pix is that people expect to see them (and see good ones - so that means mega editing).
Will ping all who have shown an interest to the Bethesda naval hospital thread & others when I get up my review. Folks will be posting pix/commentary for next few days there.
