Corpus, Christi, Texas (April 27, 2006) - Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Juan M. Rubio, of San Angelo, Texas, was awarded the Silver Star Medal for conspicuous gallantry against the enemy on Jan. 1, 2005, while serving as a Marine platoon corpsman in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).

Walter Reed Freep supporting troops Friday Night in DC. Below is Kristinn(president of DC chapter); Bert from Tennessee; and Wheelbarrow (age 80, WW2, purple heart recipient), whom I traveled with for the 3 weekend FReeps

Here are a few of the troops who stood with us for awhile. Various young men & women joined us for varying lengths of time & visited & stood with us. We had all four corners of the entrance (2 corners that Code Pink formerly held)

The post above was from Friday night at Walter Reed. These are next day at "the President's Hospital" Bethsda Naval Hospial

Some of the LARGE group, including our good friends the Rolling Thunder (primarily Vietnam vets) the next afternoon at Bethesda Naval Hospital was the Rally supporting in DC. Countering the FREAK SHOW Fred Phelps & his Westoro Baptist Church . If you have missed this sick group, they go primarily to funerals of our fallen troops & carry signs that God is happy that their loved one is dead etc.

Hundreds of law enforcement were around. Here are some getting ready. They had our two group separated by about 1000 feet.

Yes, the pooches were here also. Here they are Freeping along the fence (Josy & Toby). These are just a few pix. There will be AAR threads on each of the three events that were Freeped over the weekend & I will be posting the lions share there.

Awesome, Dolly! I am so glad you got to go and bring back these wonderful pictures. I am sure that the soldiers were so glad to see pro-troops people there to counter that sick bunch that were there. I wish he (Phelps) would take a long walk off a short pier! He is a traitor!

Our Troops fight for our freedom and keep us safe.

We should thank our Troops every day and show our support for what they do,because they sacrifice everything for us.

Always remember that.......
