The second photo down in that post, Bridges looks like a Muppet.
Here are the BACKs of two secret service agents. I have plenty of other shots but will just share these. They LOVED out stuff & gave us thumbs up. When they first saw us on the corner a group of about 6 made a quick street sweep to see if we were friend or foe. When they noted we were good guys, we got smiles & thumbs up. the gentleman by the plagerist sign is Bill (FReeper - wheelbarrow) who I traveled with. He hasn't been to DC since WW2 & is a WW2 vet with purple heart. Family friend
DollyCali & pooches Toby & Josy in front of the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Here is the thread on the Event we were Freeping
Fred Phelps is a FREAK SHOW Freep
Pres is up NOW on CSPAN!!!
Watch it. I'm guessing it will make you angry.
#5 All of the above. And then some...
thank you.
IMHO it was the only bit that was in any way funny
Yes that bit could have been really funny and even that he bombed even so I did smile a bit of the footage.
I agree. It really could have been funny but it was dragged out for so long that it was just irritating.
Anyone interested in reading my review of United 93, we saw it this afternoon and I posted on the FReeper review thread. See post #682:

IMHO that was not bad but Colbert just did not have the ability and charisma to narrate it.
yes he was
IMHO that dress was totally unsuitable
I agree plus she looked young enough to be his daughter
We have a similar campaign going on in this country. The newspaper we normally get actually gave stickers away recently to stick in rear window of your car to campaign to abolish this unfair tax.
It not only affects the rich in Britain but the average Joe has to pay it as well if their parents leave a house.
I also loved the litte bit where the news people were talking about a blown up toy Corgi. I laughed when they said the sniffer dog bit the toy Corgi's ear off.
Received and will do
[A re-post from earlier today]
THE PRESIDENT AND HIS ALTER EGO WERE AWESOME LAST EVENING and so was Wolfstar and the entire DOSE family: 1,282 comments and 22,536 views. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
BTW: Colbert got only one thing right last night . . .
"At the Bloomberg News post-show party, with guests including Desperate Housewives star James Denton, ER's Maura Tierney, Terence Howard, Ron Silver and others, COLBERT was almost the last person to arrive. He seemed pleased with his performance.
"I had a great time. THE PRESIDENT KILLED. HE'S A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW -- AT ALL TIMES. IT'LL BE TOUGH FOR WHOEVER COMES IN 2008, TOO." [Yes it will, Mr. Colbert, yes it will!]
