In all seriousness, if the KKK doesn't make a stand here against the "New" Black Panthers, we must officially discount them as a serious threat to society.

I support every non-felon American's right to carry a gun. "Interviewing suspects" could be interfering with a police investigation, though.
The more I read about this accuser, the more I believe that these two men are innocent. And I believe that District Attorney Nifong is bringing these charges because he feels he's compelled to. The Black Panthers are irrelevant. Women have less to fear at Duke than they'd have to fear in the Panther's 'hood.
"We are conducting an independent investigation, and we intend to enter the campus and interview lacrosse players," Shabazz said Thursday. "We seek to ensure an adequate, strong and vigorous prosecution."

Intimidate the players, get free media attention, etc. Hey, I thought the black panthers died out in the 70's after going to prison for long stretches, killing themselves through drug addiction or becoming born again christians or on the wrong side of the coin, becoming black muslims. Oh, I see, now who's the head of the new Black Panther Party, a muslim. No surprise. By the way, if the media wants a real party, why don't they invite the loser duo of the KKK and Nazi skinheads, and allow all three of these cretinous groups to rub each other out?
In the meantime, the next time any athletic team wants to do something stupid like invite hookers (I mean exotic dancers, i.e., strippers) to a party, maybe they should have the party at the strip club and avoid this kind of trouble. Better yet, grow up and avoid this kind of nonsense all together.

I doubt they could afford the trip. I read an expo about the KKK a year or so ago. They only have about 20-25 real members, no money and nobody is joining up. The most overhyped "organization" in America right now.

You make a very logical point, but chocolates, at least in west Tennessee, have been on the dole for so long, they don't bother to do much work anyway.
This is the reason that there is such a demand for immigrant workers who seem to have a much stronger work ethic.
I would be all in favor of Mexican workers if they were documented and played by the rules.
