This is definitely a difference between the US and Britain we might have the occasional poll more likely an interactive TV one. I am sure the parties do them and probably are published somewhere and may occasionally be mentioned on TV but certainly not as prominently as it seems to be in the US.

Yes he is! He needs to really take her in his arms tonight b/c that man really hit a nerve with her. She was ticked...and I DON'T blame her! I'm mad as well.

Yeah, he was so not prepared tonight. I can't figure out what he was as after in that skit.

We mostly love nonpolitical stuff though. It doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative, watching French guys launch cows from a castle while cursing at "English pig dogs" is always funny. lol Now I definitely need that one explaining

SNL .. LOLLOL!! doing a cartoon of Clinton doing takes of his "this evening I testified before the independent counsel" speech. Midway through it, a girl darts out from under the desk, he starts over again. Then he gets distracted by a man holding a blue dress ... he has to start over 5 times for these PRICELESS reminders of the disgusting scumbag he is.
Cspan can idolize him, but some folks WILL NEVER FORGET.

I must've missed Laura leaving. Was she really upset? I wish I could tell her not to listen to that loser, that we all love her and her wonderful husband.

Absolutely it is the best humour and the reason the GWB was funny with his speeches at these dinners and Clinton was not.
Clinton made fun of others mainly opponents and rarely himself and if himself very mildly.
GWB on the other hand makes fun of himself, his government, his family and other members of his party but rarely opponents. If he does attack opponents you do not see the twist of the knife; even if he means it - he always keeps that air of civility.

That is part of the situation.
We have a great Humane Society through out San Diego.
Several went to La. & Miss during Katrina also plane loads of dogs and cats were flown to San Diego and most have found homes.

Why on earth would you get banned for telling the truth?
I always tell my fellow Catholics that voting for Democrats is a mortal sin!

President Bush and his alter ego is the funniest concept I have seen in years! President Bush could easily have been a professional comedian but I'm so glad he's our president instead. The Bush look-alike has a website with funny videos you can watch of him immitating President Bush... www.stevebridges.com/ Very funny!
The "professional comedian" (cough) Colbert STINKS!
