RNC Maintains Tremendous Fundraising Lead Over DNC
CQ Politcs ^ | 4/25/2006 | Greg Giroux

Posted on 04/29/2006 8:30:06 AM PDT by do the dhue

The Republican National Committee raised $11.8 million in March and the Democratic National Committee raised $6.8 million, according to reports filed last week with the Federal Election Commission.

In the first three months of this year, the Republican National Committee (RNC) raised $36.6 million, which RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman said last week was an indication that “Americans are more committed than ever to enacting a Republican agenda.” Through the first 15 months of the 2005-06 election cycle, the RNC has taken in $141.9 million.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has raised about half as much as the RNC — $18.1 million in this year’s first quarter. The DNC has raised $74.2 million for the entire election cycle. The RNC continues to enjoy a lopsided advantage in cash-on-hand: $43 million to $10 million for the DNC as April began.

Nonetheless, DNC chairman Howard Dean touted his group’s financial standing in an April 22 speech. “Last year we broke fundraising records and this year we’ve had a record first quarter in fundraising,” Dean said.

I know exactly how you feel and feel the same way. I remember the Clinton administration and I will never sit out an election because I don't like what some Republicans stand for. A vote for any RINO is better that letting someone like Kerry or the Hildabeast take their place.

What this means is a BIG "OOOPS!" for the pollsters. They actually think that since people are mad about things going on now and are killing Bush in the ratings, that they don't support the GOP, and even more ridiculous, that they will vote rat. The polls can be fixed but these numbers speak for themselves.

'The GOP betrayals (spending, illegal sham-nesty) will keep people home in droves, just the way Carter's leadership did for Demon_rats.'

Count on me washing my hands of this by warning you that if people stay home, they will one day wish they hadn't.

I am not a prophet, I just have experience.

I think November is a long way politically. A lot can happen (good and bad). I think it does prove that we are polarized. I think it all depends on who breaks up first, liberals and Demorats or Conservatives and Republicans. It looks like the liberals are standing strong with the Demorats, but it is kinda looking like a setting sun for the Republican and Conservatives with some people. I think we need to stay united right now more then ever or it could be real ugly for the next decade or so. Consider how ugly it would be if Hillery were President?

I am glad you spoke up. In an election, I guess a vote for a RINO is better because you should get something from him/her at some point in time. But we really need to clean the RINOs out of Elephant country. Elephants don't belly up to the bar with Jackasses or RINOs(we would have to buy all the booze). We don't need them in our party and we really need to ethnically cleanse RINOs in the Primaries from Elephant territory.

Good spend the money on a re-education program for the brain washed public.

Seriously, think of how simplistic F911 was. Are you telling me we can't create a few issue orientated short videos (commericials) that reveal the real DNC?

I think we will see an offensive campaign heading into November. No need to fire all your guns until you see their yellow bellies. And I am not telling you that 'we can't create a few issue orientated short videos (commercials) that reveal the real DNC?'. I am saying that I don't want to see people leave the Party because of RINOs and the like. I am saying that rather abstaining or switching parties, we should clean up our party during the primaries. And I am saying call the rats out for what they are. I see them as evil, because evil rejoices when the unborn baby is killed, because evil will rejoice when God is removed from public view. because evil will rejoice when a Demorat takes control of our military again.

We can not allow that. Fix the party from within and vote Republican.

I can't stand the spineless "Rs," but they do help us maintain our majority and we will never be able to elect a pure conservative majority in the current climate. Given a choice, I will take them over the Dems any day of the week.

I guess I would too but don't make me turn my back on a RINO. :-)

From now on, in order for Conservatives to keep power, we should be ethnically cleansing RINOs from the Party of Elephants.

You can't sustain a majority with only 12 conservatives and that's about all we'll have left if we follow that line of thinking.

I'll bet individual donations to the RNC have declined though. The grassroots are disgusted at the RNC and will donate directly to candidates.

I will send the RNC my generous Gringo De Mexico donation of Nada PESOS just as soon as they solicit a donation :>} The Republicans supporting the sovereignty of the United States and upholding and defending the Constitution I will support the rest can go pound sand.

We need to pull a Milosevic on the RINOs in the below list during our primary elections. We need to put solid Conservatives in their place and we don't need to be abstaining from the party right.
