Rally to Enforce Our Border Security Sunday, April 30, 2006 2:00 PM FT. Collins, Colorado Corner of College and Mulberry Bring your flags and be nice. |
Hope you can make it
Dang! Working Sunday through Wednesday.
Let's have one in Downtown Denver on May 5th just to make 'em mad. I'm off that day.
Sorry.
I wonder if the political bigshots even care as long as you're waving your flag and being nice. Are we being nice because we don't want to offend? Has polite society EVER made a revolution which it's lookin like we need now? Maybe the time has come to bring our gun(s) and be ugly.
No, we are being nice so that we don't get arrested. This stuff will be civil until someone loses an eye. We have to maintain our civility as long as we can.
With you in spirit. Colorado State University, class of '85.
Good luck and watch out for those moose-limbs. "Does not play well with others".
It's the price I must pay for wanting my Sons brought up in a house with one parent always present to ensure that they're raised right: less household income.
Illegals can do this easily when they don't pay taxes and don't have jobs.
They've already declared La Revolucion Continua, La Tierra Mia, and Si Se Puede and I expect that on Monday, political correctness will be the least of the worries of our politicians. If 'Ugliness',as you so politely described it, happens all across this country just because folks decide to counter protest the movement so that the majority of americans can be heard, local law enforcement will NOT be able to handle it. Though I abhore violence, what results may just be the only way our President and leadership in D.C. will get the wakeup call they need.
IMO, Allowing mass gatherings all across the country in numbers that local enforcement cannot control is a huge mistake. Should there be a problem at even one location, it could threaten the national security of our country.
I am so disappointed that I am unable to be a part of your rally and I wish you all the best. I am so glad to know that there are folks who are able and taking the time to get the message out! PLEASE stay safe!
Wow! That rally sounds like it was a great success BP.
Question: Do you think that many people will take Monday off to actually try and counter protest? Clearly any counter groups would be far outnumbered, but with all of the advanced notice of this event, and people getting pretty ticked off about it, I'm just wondering if there will be more than just the one lone flag burner who showed up at a previous rally.
I too stayed home and raised my kids. I just wanted to raise them in our faith as Catholics and make sure they were nutured and I got to play with them and have fun with them. It was the best time of my life! But neither one of them want kids so no grandchildren for me. But with my health I would probably be an old granny to them.My daughter is visiting LA now and I called her to tell her about the boycott Monday and to be sure to leave early for the airport!
"...but why are Americans afraid to take a day off to protect their country when the illegals are ALL willing to take the day off to help destroy the country they live in (illegally)..."
Economics.
Americans pay taxes..... the majority of illegals don't.
Depending on what tax bracket we're in....some of us get whacked 30% or more. Think about it. If you made 30% more than you currently do, wouldn't it be easier to take a day off from work?
President Bush shows every indication of being stone deaf the wishes of mainstream America. It may take 1-2 million armed civilian militia on the Whitehouse lawn, maybe during ramadan when he's entertaining his muslim friends, before he hears the "wakeup" call.
Ft. Collins, CO, home of Dan's Bake Sale!
Why is there fence around the White House when there is no need for one on the border?
Did you see this from Malkin's site? Speaking of armed militia, it seems they are going to show up with more than American Flags! I posted it on an earlier thread and am wondering how many of the protesters WILL be prepared for problems or will start them. Tensions will be so high by monday that it wouldn't take much to set off a crowd of millions. Even if it were to happen in LA, Chicago or NY, it can't be ignored.

This is an invasion of America by the citizens of another country - what part of that equation do our politicians not understand? Who are our spokesmen since they obviously are not in Washington DC?
This should be the bumper sticker and pin for the new "Conservative Party" that is being formed right before our eyes.
