"Nothing will change...."I believe your correct.How many millions of illegals are already in Ca?Any idea what the costs for health services,housing,and misc benefits are for individual localities?The only option is to a)raise taxes or 2)stop providing services. What will local and state governments do when their tax base(middle and upper middle class)moves out of state?I'd say move to Fla,but we have between 250K and 500K illegals(unofficial estimate)here.We're in the same boat,it's just going to take Fl longer to get there.

Every state is going to find itself in the same boat. This notion that only border states suffer from illegal immigration is a myth. The problem has spread throughout the country. Our politicians would like to make it worse through "reforms" that would aggravate rather than address the crisis we're now facing.
