Incredible! These people are actually enemies of their own country.

Who cares..? The Justice department is the last place that will deliver justice, just like the department of education is the last place that would deliver an education.

Any federal entity is simply a means of distributing confiscated money from the pockets of peoples who provide a return on investment to peoples who simply occupy a federally mandated cost center.

Nothing the federals do means $hit; but everything they do inevitably turns into it, as if by magic.

"Anyone surprised that the CA legislature contains a lot of extreme USA-hating leftists?"

Not only that, but they are incredibly stupid. That
s why they're Liberals. They're the ones who mortgaged their children's future to the energy companies for some electricity a few years ago.

The power companies were laughing all the way to the bank and the Wall Street Journal called the California government people responsible "dimbulbs".

The inmates are running the asylum.

They will be held accountable this fall when both houses of Congress are turned over to the likes of:

"enough whining. none of this will matter when Bush gives amnesty"

...and gives even more incentive to illegally cross the border.

BTW, I heard a story that they caught someone crossing the border who we have formerly held in Guantanamo (sp?). I assume he was a potential muslim terrorist. Any truth to this?

In many heavily infested areas, this will be the first day in a long time that one can take the family to a mall without being afraid of the gangs of thugs there.

My wife JUST became a citizen last week.

My hat off to a fine American (your wife)...I guess you are ok too...LOL. Just kidding. That is so wonderful. I happen to be very proud of your wife for actually being patient and going through the steps to become a citizen. You know I bet you were touched at the ceremony.

California -156 years ago!

Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, in California?

California became a state.
The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gun fights in the streets.

So basically, it was just like California today except the women had real breasts and men
didn't hold hands.

POLL TO FREEP

Do you agree with people singing a Spanish-language version of the U.S. national anthem?
Yes, there should be a Spanish version.
No, it should only be sung in English.

The English version is THE anthem.
The Spanish version is a production of performance art.

You know I bet you were touched at the ceremony.

Indeed I was, not just for my wife, but for all the others in the room - about 30, mostly Hispanic, a few Russians and South East Asians (my wife is Chinese). This took place in Charlotte, NC. The whole room stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. I blubbered like a school girl...

I believe that this ceremony takes place on a daily basis, all over the country. These are the silent majority. They pay their taxes, obey the laws and you can bet that they will vote. But like the Cubans in south Florida, they won't be voting Democratic - I know my wife won't be
