The problem (I have) with the Constitution Party....etc is they don't win elections. And that after all is the purpose of politacle parties. You can be 147.563% pure in your political philosophy and if you don't/can't get elected then it means....nothing.

You mean they haven't won elections because everyone was happy with pubs and dims - which is no longer the case. We've all had it with both. The number of people I meet every day that are party shopping for independants now is nothing short of amazing.
That's the best idea I've seen in a long time.
No, I mean 3rd parties don't win elections because you don't win elections either because they don't know how to run a campaign or don't have good candidates. Why is this? IMO it's because so many 3rd party people (And God bless em) appear to worry more about being 100% pure than winning elections. So what ends up happening is people stay home on election day.
Yes, I feel their pain :)
Cox has run for previous office -- he ran for Congress once, U.S. Senate twice, and Cook County recorder of Deeds. He lost the first three primaries, then got the GOP nomination for recorder of deeds running unopposed in the primary -- only to lose the general elecrion.
I sure would like to hear more about this guy. Why is not a single talk radio host mentioning him?
