The odds are eventually going to catch up with us. We don't even have a clue as to who is getting through. It could have easily been sealed up after 9/11 without a peep from anyone. Totally insane.

It's the Terrorists we don't catch slipping through the border that concern me the most..

"The immigration laws those hijackers broke - overstaying their visas and/or never showing up for school in the first place - are STILL NOT BEING ENFORCED!"

Last time I did some research on overstayed visas, there were millions that fell into this category. Our immigration system is more that broken.

The odds are eventually going to catch up with us.

It's a matter of when, not if. And our elected officials don't care, just as long as the labor stays cheap.

How can this be? According to the supporters, apologists and enablers of illegal aliens, there are no potential or actual terrorists crossing our southern border.

New Crisis At U.S. Southern Border
HOUSTON, July 26, 2005

...According to the Border Patrol, some 465,000 OTMs have taken advantage of this "catch and release" policy to settle here in the U.S. "It's an insane policy which encourages OTMs to come into the country illegally, and we shouldn't be shocked that they are coming in record numbers," says T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents more than 9,000 agents. In fact, he says, after crossing the border, many OTMs flag down agents or walk up to them and surrender, knowing they will be released. "The word is out," says Mr. Bonner. "They know that as soon as they are caught, they will be free to roam at will."
* * *

"We should be greatly concerned because OTMs do not register, their travel documents are suspect, and they have no biometric records that can be checked to verify identity," remarked the appropriations subcommittee's chairman, Harold Rogers (R) of Kentucky.

Most are from Brazil and Central America, but Mr. Aguilar reported that last year 644 came from "countries of concern."

What's most disturbing, say immigration experts, is that the increase in OTM apprehensions comes on the heels of the U.S. war on terror.

It only took 19 to kill over 3,000 innocents.

"Over the past three years, OTM apprehensions have more than tripled nationwide and have been concentrated along the South Texas border."

Perhaps the White House can also invite the OTMs to join the guestworker program...

J.D. Hayworth (snip) says to call our reps and keep up the pressure. He hasn't
been invited back to the W.H. since he told them they are not listening to
the American people.

just needed to be repeated

"Can I have my monthly Pilsner Urquell?"

They've been taken over by the (capialist) government, changed the old-style fermentation from wood to stainless...is ges, ok.

But when I was was back in West Germany (1974-1978), and the closer you were to the Czech border, I remember PU as a copper-colored beer, draft...and PLEASE, not green bottles. Had a bite. The beers I was used to drinking in upper Franconia were much maltier.

That's it! The government has basically abdicated it's RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTY to protect the borders!

Any of the pub-bots now want to bring out the violins and complain about "If we don't vote for them, the evil dems will take over..."

Cry me a freakin river. Neither party is worth a pot you can pizz in... they have obviously shown that "globalization" and "NWO" mean more to them than average Joe six pack.

Good evening.

Thanks for the info. I began drinking PU in the early 70s, in the same bottles it's in now. Perhaps it was bottled for import to the US that away.

However it was bottled, I have never found a beer that tasted as good from beginning to end. Now I limit myself to one and only occasionally. Now that it's hot I'll have to pick up some more.
