Is he still a canadian citizen?
I saw him a few times in the early 70's. A very talented musician at the time. I, on the other hand, though bereft of musical talent, still have my brain and cognitive reasoning ability. Which puts me way ahead of old Neil.

Does anyone listen to Neil Young's music? His voice makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Chris Kristopherson is a better singer and his voice makes dogs fight.

A rock musician with leftist political leanings......how unusual, how daring, how totally cutting edge. Sort of like a donut with a hole in the middle.

Here's some updated lyrics to "Ohio" for Brother Young...
What if you knew Kurds
Were buried in mass graves in the ground
How can you run when you know?

You know you are on the right side of an issue when an old commie hippie like this fellow does a who song against you.
Congratulations Mr. President.

Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door
Hes the man who hired all the criminals
The White House shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new stories
Why is he mad at Bill Clinton?

His lyrics have gotten to become ridiculous childish tripe.
It sounds like a poem some high school drop out tree hugging moron would write.
oh wait...

OK, Neil, here is a take for you:
Four Planes Coming
W/o apology to Neil Young (Four dead in Ohio)
Four planes with ragheads coming
They've finally met their call
That morning we heard them coming
Thousands died in the fall
Gotta get down to it
Soldiers can save us all
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And all that she had done
How can they claim, they did not know?
Osama and Saddam were coming
Salmon Pak was their home
In Sudan they heard the drumming,
but no one picked up the phone.
Gotta get down to it
Soldiers can save us all
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And all that she had done
How can they claim, they did not know?

For hijacking our religion and using it to get elected Dividing our country into colors When someone claims to have had "their" religion stolen that's a sure sign they probably don't have a clue about Christianity.

Whoo boy! I remember when this guy was really good.
These lyrics are so pedestrian and juvenile it's pathetic. Absolutely nothing clever, witty, or artistic about them at all. Downright high-schoolish. On one level I'm disappointed that this is apparently what Neil's writing has sunk to these days. (It's tough to see the heroes of our youth getting too old to cut it anymore.) On the other hand I'm glad there's nothing to worry about as far as this silly little ditty catching on. Whew, that's for sure.

I hate to even comment on these inane unoriginal lyrics, but would Neil prefer to give Osama a verbal censor in the UN? What would he have done after 9/11, and how long would that have lasted?
He might be the hole in the donut himself.
