That's nothing. Wade Boggs said he escaped a bar brawl by willing himself invisible.

Might have gone that way if it had been Penn and Teller.

Why didn't he just throw a sheet over the robber and turn him into a pigeon?

One woman handed over $400 from her pockets and the other gave up her purse with 200 euros, $100, her passport, plane tickets and a cell phone.

Hold on....

So, these girls had over $700 US (depending on the Euro exchange rate) on them. He expects us to believe they were "assistants"...? More like hookers.....allegedly.

Copperfield read the license plate to Daly as she called 911. Daly also described the suspects to the operator as "very urban-like" and cops pulled over the car at 45th Street and Broadway at 11:25 p.m. Copperfield and the women were taken quickly to the location in a squad car, and they identified the handcuffed youths as the robbers. The loot was recovered.
Does anyone know what urban-like is?

Oh that's nothing. The new Sheriff on Blazing Saddles held himself hostage and freed himself from a town full of armed vigilantes.

I think it was a David Copperfield impersonator,
the real David Copperfield would have made the getaway car disappear while they were looking at him.
On the subject of the assistants, remember who David used to be married to, He probablby has some babe assistants for his majic show.

Hey, he's a great illusionist. I mean, he managed to create the illusion of being able to nab Claudia Schiffer, right?

...to[o] bad he couldnt pull a gun out of his hat.

He probably had one of those magician's prop guns. You know, the kind that extends a cloth banner with the word "Bang!" on it. But he knew the adage, "Don't bring a 'magician's prop gun to a gun fight.'"

He left his "Penn & Teller" penetrating [decks of] cards in his other pants.

More likely he'll be arrested for failing to provide what they wanted when he actually could have.
