I think that is only because of its size certainly not because of its quality.

Where is East St. Louis? New Orleans? Philadelphia? Baltimore?

Any one of those places probably has more drive-by shootings that Baghdad does.

Although "city" and "conservative" seem to be oxymoronic today, what are our 10 most conservative cities?

I walk Michigan Ave. every day and yes you see a some hanging out,..but I still see the "move along bud"

My family owns a biz on North Lincoln Ave and the cops don't tolerate bums up there at all. No Lincoln Park bums allowed..Ha

San Fran mainly because of the restrictive zoning and construction laws that make it almost impossible to put up new housing. It will sink further and further into (1) the desired residence of gays worldwide and (2) a tourist stop. A shame, because it is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Not surprised Seattle made the list.

All the liberal californians who voted in all the dumpocrats who destroyed that state, are now all moving up here so they can do the same thing.

I am surprised Baltimore did not make the list. Series of liberal whack-jobs as Mayor (two of whom were Nancy Pelosi's father and brother), original home of Nancy Pelosi, primary base for Senators Paul Sarbanes and Barbara Mikulski, bloated welfare system, abysmal school system, crime and drug infested... Need I continue?

Plus Baltimore apparently attracts gays too - can someone please explain why?!

I too am shocked Ithaca didn't make this list.

Since the Human Events editors are the ones who picked this list, maybe they ought to hear from us?

The popular Portland weekly paper, Willamette Week, prints color ads for hookers. But, hey, I hear the cops are soon going to crack down on evil smokers who get their ciggies online, tax-free.
