The Victims Of Illegal Aliens (The Illegal Alien Criminal Problem Alert)

President Bush accuses those of us who want to secure America's borders and fully enforce our immigration laws of lacking "compassion."

Huh. Well, I have yet to hear an ounce of compassion from President Bush for America's countless casualties of lax immigration enforcement. Where's the sympathy for innocent, law-abiding citizens who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens and their open-borders enablers?

Nope, we haven't heard a word about the victims as the White House pours on its unadulterated pro-illegal alien rhetoric and "undocumented workers do the jobs Americans won't do" propaganda – all in support of a massive, ill-timed, bureaucratic nightmare-inducing amnesty plan that will inevitably increase illegal immigration.

Last week, a notorious illegal alien serial killer who traipsed freely across the U.S.-Mexican border during a 25-year, escalating crime spree popped up in the news again. The case of Angel Resendiz, a convicted death row murderer in President Bush's home state of Texas, is a timely reminder of the deadly costs of our continued homeland security chaos.

Time and again, illegal alien day laborer Resendiz broke the law getting into our country; broke more laws while in the country; and then broke the law repeatedly and brazenly after being released, deported and allowed to return. His most brutal acts included the slayings of 12 people, ranging in age from 16 to 81, which ended in 1999 when Resendiz surrendered to a Texas Ranger in El Paso. For the last seven years, Resendiz has been perched comfortably on Death Row – eating chocolate cream pies, watching Spanish-language television, whining about depression and selling locks of his hair on Internet auction sites.

His execution, scheduled for May 10, has been delayed pending yet another of his endless appeals claiming to be "insane."

As I recounted in my book "Invasion," Resendiz entered and exited our country at will. From the time he was 14, he racked up arrests and convictions ranging from trespassing, destruction of property, burglary, aggravated battery and grand theft auto to carrying a loaded firearm and false representation of U.S. citizenship. He had at least 25 encounters with U.S. law enforcement between August 1976 and August 1996, when he was arrested and released for trespassing in a Kentucky rail yard.

During that period, he was convicted at least nine times on several serious felony charges. He was deported to Mexico by the feds at least three times and was "voluntarily returned" to Mexico at least four times without formal proceedings. Throughout 1998, the Border Patrol continued its blind catch-and-release policy – apprehending Resendiz seven times and letting him go on his own recognizance despite his massive criminal record and three prior deportations. Shoddy fingerprint databases, immigration paperwork negligence and unpoliced borders led to:

The bludgeoning death of Florida teenager Jesse Howell and the rape and strangulation murder of his fiance, Wendy Von Huben.

The bludgeoning death of University of Kentucky student Christopher Maier and the rape and near-murder of his girlfriend, who survived the attack.

The murder of Leafie Mason, an elderly Texas woman whom Resendiz hammered to death with a fire iron.

The rape, stabbing and bludgeoning death of Baylor College of Medicine researcher Claudia Benton.

The sledgehammer bludgeonings of Texas pastor Norman Sirnic and his wife, Karen.

The bludgeoning death of Houston teacher Noemi Dominguez.

The murder of elderly Texas widow Josephine Konvicka, who was killed with a grubbing hoe.

The murders of George Morber, shot in the head, and Carolyn Frederick, clubbed to death.

The last four of Resendiz's victims were murdered after Resendiz had been released by federal immigration officials – even though there were already warrants outstanding for his arrest.

Resendiz made a bloody mockery of our homeland security chaos. Congress and the White House are now preparing to add grave insult to fatal injury by refusing to fix the persistent problems that facilitated Resendiz's crimes.

Campaigning for amnesty this week, President Bush mouthed the open-borders mantra against tough deportation policies and lectured immigration enforcement advocates about their lack of sensitivity.

"I can understand it's emotional," he said, but "we're talking about human beings, decent human beings that need to be treated with respect."

I don't think the victims of "undocumented worker" Angel Resendiz would agree.

Recendiz is now trying to get out of being put to death on insanity grounds. My, he's been insane for some time now!

Unless the Republicans pull a rabbit out of a hat fast! they're going to loose Congress in November,

Because they have alienated and lost their base support, and this is why:

Failure to solve the problem of illegal aliens!

Failure to secure the U.S. borders!

Failure to nullify the odious and nefarious Supreme Court "Eminent Domain" decision!

Expansion of government and spending programs!

Increased entitlement programs--notably the Prescription Drug entitlement!

Failure to exorcize the Litigation Crisis that has priced health care out of the reach of everyone and endangered the public while enriching Trial Lawyers!

Et al!

However, this is the biggest problem:
The Republicans have failed to solve these problems.

The Democrats will ACTIVELY INCREASE EVERY ONE of these problems--and more!

Whereas the Republicans have proven ineffective in controlling Illegal Immigration and Open Borders,

THE DEMOCRATS ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND OPEN BORDERS BECAUSE THEY EXPECT THIS TO ENLARGE THEIR BASE SUPPORT!

Here's just one incident we'll never forget in Nebraska:

Not one word in the article about them being illegal. Shameful.

I see two problems with this thread.
The MSM is loathe to publish crime-by-illegals stories except for the most mind-boggling vicious murders. And there has been no systematic attempt to compile them all.

The usual response is that our domestic criminals do OK in the murder and mayhem department, but the illegal crime rate must be at least double the "domestic" criminal rate (it may be three times or ten, there is a systematic attempt to prevent the statistics from being learned.

Listen to Dennis Prager. I respect the man enormously, but he still blithely parrots the fiction that illegal Mexicans hardly commit crimes, don't kill and rape...
I shudder every time he covers the subject.

Thanks for that link.
Do you know of any site that keeps track of all violent crimes by Mexican illegal aliens? Better yet, all crimes.
Hearing the talking heads tell it, the problem is like the "muslim" one. Only a tiny minority are the criminals...

I don't believe that. The cultural attitude they bring with them is firmly in the "if I can get away with it it's not a crime" category...

First of all it is an insult and an outrage to the millions of the truly insane who never kill anyone.

Then there are the "life imprisonment" idiots.
There is nothing from keeping these human bricks from volunteering to support a killer for the rest of his/her life. Just don't make me or any other taxpayer do it against our will.

Anyone convicted of killing two or more persons should die. Quickly and without exception. Insane or not.

Last week in CT... it hit home for me.

A prison guard was riding his motorcycle home at 7:00AM when he was crushed by an illegal, Guatemalan driver. The illegal said he was employed at a local horse stable... but they had no record of him. The illegal(with a 6th grade education) said... “The sun was in my eyes.”

No license... no registration... no insurance... no nada!

Good idea, let's make them responsible for supporting those on death row. Set a price per head for each murderer, say $40,000 per year, and keep as many alive as the contributions will fund.

Yeah, read about the poor woman in rockland county, NY who was murdered in cold blood by a "guest" working at her house for a contractor who then got her cell phone and then taunted the husband about doing it.

If the GOP loses the Senate, I don't give a Shitte.
If GWB goes down slightly above Carter, I don't give a Shiite.

The House is the only one doing their job lately.

Bush has shown who he truly cares about and is not the American people. He has no allegiance to this country and is sad to see that a man with such great potential totally destroy any legacy that could of been his. The time was right to do the right thing after 911 but Bush has shown that corporate and globalist interests are more important the American law abiding citizen interests. This is a wake up call that I believe will resonate with conservatives for many many years to come. Bush has taken a calcualted risk that he will get more votes from illegals by forcing this policy. We'll see how it works out but I will never vote for another Hillery-lite candidate again.

Here's an interesting link.......our DEA's 'most wanted'.

Don't know if the majority are 'illegals', however the majority sure seem to be hispanic.

Check out Denver, with 59 listed & 56 being 'hispanic'.

Wonder why DEA doesn't list immigration status ?? Don't they ask *either* ??

Resendiz is the prize pig that Vicente Fox doesn't want Texas to kill. It's odd that a crazy person could outsmart all those US government employees all those years. But I seem to recall he was carrying a Democrat voter registration card when he was captured, so perhaps he is crazy.

Do you mean that I should have included the sarcasm tag? I know what a cluster-**** is and the two Bush administrations I have seen, are classic examples. However one person's plan may appear to be such to others.

President Bush accuses those of us who want to secure America's borders and fully enforce our immigration laws of lacking "compassion."

I fail to see the compassion in the President's recommended policies on immigration, illegal aliens and border security.

There is no compassion in filling a man's stomach or his pocketbook by relieving him of his responsibilities in life. Illegal aliens have abandoned their own house in order to be comfortable in ours. By so doing neither can be the master of his own house and both will be enemies in the street. This is our house, the U.S. of A., and it is our responsibility to set the rules in it.

The issue of a guest worker program is separate from the issue of illegal aliens. If illegal aliens take jobs from Americans (and they do) they take even more jobs from foreign nationals who apply by the legal route to work here and wait years for the chance. Illegal aliens steal that chance from them.

They are different groups of people, regardless of their country of origin, and the political issues that concern them are different in their effects and needs. Confusing the two may be lethal to our society, economy and sovereignty.

We already have a guest worker program, which may indeed need to be reformed. But illegal aliens are those who have not applied to be guest workers. There are 11 million of them by some estimates, 20 million by others. The only thing needing reform concerning illegal aliens is to enforce the existing laws respecting their presence and their employment here. Our sovereignty and rule-of-law demand it.

Border security is the number one problem in this debate. The flood of illegal aliens is a major factor in relation to our lack of border security but it is only one factor. There is also a matter of national security in a time of war and in an age when terrorists have set their sights on inflicting mass destruction on our society.

After the issues of border security and millions of illegal foreign nationals on our soil the matter of guest workers is very small in comparison. Until the first two problems are thoroughly and firmly addressed the guest worker issue should not even be discussed.

The President and the Senate need to get that message with unambiguous resolve.

The best methods to control the border have been studied and debated for a long time now. There are many good ideas and proven solutions. What is lacking is only the will to do it. The cost of controlling our borders will be insignificant compared to the price we will pay, both in security and economy, if we do not.

It would be nice to help everyone in the world lift themselves up out of poverty. But we cannot take that responsibility upon ourselves especially if we ignore our own welfare to the point that we are no longer prosperous.

Other nations of the world have an obligation to help their citizens every bit as much as we have to help ours. It is one thing to help other nations prosper it is quite another to relieve them of their own responsibilities. Beyond that it is simply not realistic to think that poverty can be ended around the world. We still have some in this great nation.

We must stop pandering to American employers who criminally employ illegal foreign nationals. Dry up the jobs and illegal foreign nationals will go home. Home where they can do what they must to put their house in order just as we must put ours in order.
