Great I will be able to watch it on tv.
We need a separate LIVE thread!
"find mud to sling."
There is no mud to find. What they are doing is muddying up what Tony has said and trying to smear him with it. Tony is such a nice and decent person that I don't think too much of it will stick.
Helen with her usual scowl and scornful question. And Tony responding with a smile and his infectious laugh, "Oh, c'mon Helen, you know better than that."
There are some folks working on it.
Thanks - I didn't even know where such a thread goes.
You mean the poster calling himself or herself Tony Snow may not have been the Tony Snow?
The installation ceremony will be on the regular Tony Snow Live thread...just search for Tony Snow.
That person WAS Tony Snow.
I'm trying to get a "breaking news" thread.
I agree.
;>)
Yea, that's what I mean
.....Richard M. Nixon
I was just pointing out some of the things Tony has written.
I think he's a good choice. Tough, smart and articulate.
Bush had a good zinger when these writings came up today, "he said you should have seen what I wrote about the other guy."
Funny.
Over at MSNBC, Keith Olbermann didn't sound very impressed either.
"And as to the forecast for Snow at the White House," Olbermann told his audience last night, "in the words of one Washington wag about the press secretary heir apparent, 'The administration appears to have vetted him as well as it did Bernie Keric.'"
"Jim Robinson and/or the moderators removed all of Tony's posts from here sometime yesterday. My assumption is that the White House doesn't want any of his private comments easily available."
Yep. And of course, our mission is to support the WH no matter what. That's life in Orwell-Freeperville, eh?
No, but that is Tony Snow's current mission and we should respect that. There is nothing wrong with this courtesy being extended to Tony or anyone else who requests it.
And for the record, Free Republic is a conservative site and as such we should support our conservative President even if we disagree with him on some issues.
