It will probably all just fade away, IF it is handled discreetly.
Why should it have to be handled discreetly? That is diametrically counter to the foundation of this Nation.

Yes, it is. Having said that, we all know that it is possible to go to hell being right. I do it all the time!
Why this protester was wrong, IMHO, is that she put President Bush in a position whereby he had to apologize to Evil Hu, if only as a diplomatic courtesy. I really hated seeing that, since Hu is openly antagonistic towards the Bush White House and the United States.
Hu knows that his country, a Communist country, needs a larger share of the world's oil supply. Thanks to NAFTA and Nixon, Clinton and MFN status, the Communist Chinese are sneaking in the back door on this issue. The lady who screamed at Hu deflected that issue, as far as I could tell.
Communist China's leader did not get a State Dinner from the Bush White House. That was the absolutely right thing to do...then creepy Bill Gates goes and kisses up to him, which is pretty disloyal and more telling, not at all in any way, in the best interests of the United States. I always wonder if Bill Gates has a mini-Me.
