Tax Freeze at 2003 amount % per gallon?
TT
my backside is still tender... I am tired of being bent over with no lubrication... getting old...
"congressional compensation is up 250%..."
Well they deserve it! They all work so hard... NOT!!!
"I am tired of being bent over with no lubrication."
And unfortunately, the price of petroleum jelly has skyrocketed.
Are we kidding ourselves. The only thing politicians are interested in is what they can get away with and not upset their cushy jobs. Government is out of control.
How did he calculate that figure? It seems pretty improbable to me.
Yikes! Another nail in the coffin of Republican candidates for 2006. This year's elections will be very ugly indeed. Repubs will be lucky if they win 10% of seats.
Was he suggesting that when we pay for Congress we are in fact paying for gas?
OK, I'm no lover of Congress but compensation up 250% since 2005? Got a source for that?
At nearly $50.00 for a set of color and black cartridges, I can only afford to print small documents on even-numbered days.
Big Ink is conspiring to sell cheap printers, knowing they are useless without their expensive ink.

250% since 2005 (which is what the headline says) simply isn't right. It could be up 250% from some earlier date (like 1981), from which gas is up only 100%, or some such. But even that would take some investiagtion to see what figures are being used.
What's your source on this? It sounds way out of line.
LOL!!
We need to look at "Big Milk" as well....
Beck said the same thing on his show this morning, but the start date he cited was 1985.
Just heard him again, it is Glen Beck.
I was listening to Beck this morning too when he made that comment. I believe that congress has seen about a 250% increase over that time, but gas is up way more than 65% since 1985.
