A view of our future with Medicare.
George, it ain't just our future.
It is our past, present and then our future.
How can you bust an "alleged" ring? It would seem that it really had to be an illegal enterprise, or the story should read "Law Enforcement Tramples on Rights of Honest Citizens".
The cable History Channel's excellent expose of Russian organized criminals pulled no punches...... How they emigrate from Russia, go to Israel to pick up all the freebies (paid for by US taxpayers), then come to the USA settling in Little Odessa, Brooklyn, the center of their crime activties.
They are greeted here in the US with all kinds of tax-paid goodies b/c they claim asylum from persecution.....they get job set-asides, health care, welfare, and other benefits we Americans pay for. Some of them use fake passports claiming to be Russian even though they are not b/c of all the freebies.
The Russian criinals are into all kinds of frauds---staged auto accidents, Medicare/Aid fraud, insurance fraud, ID theft, securities fraud......you name it. The web site INSURANCEFRAUD.COM CHRONICLED THE RUSSIAN FRAUDS: Russians kings of staged crashes in NYC.
Russian gangs are the kingpins of staged accidents in New York City, investigators say. Russians have amassed a monopoly that has cost auto insurers up to $500 million (that menas we pay more). Eight large Russian rings have been busted over the last three years. The kingpins paid cocaine-addled drivers as little as $200 each to crash cars into hundreds of innocent drivers on busy roads. The Russians also created as many as 1,000 phony medical clinics to treat fake injuries of passengers who rode with the crashers. Russian mobsters forced some passengers for months to get treatment they didnt need.
One Russian-operated law firm in Brooklyn signed up 3,000 clients from staged accidents, generating up to $30 million in bogus claims. Often the crooked drivers targeted elderly motorists, or drivers who were distracted while using cell phones. The Russians removed the bulbs from their rear brake lights, darted in front of the target car, put the cars in neutral and then slammed on the brakes, according to an FBI investigation dubbed Operation Allcons. Medicare was ripped off to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars, which we pay for; we also have to pay more for insurance b/c of these scams.
Ask your Congressman or US Senator to give you the informaton from GAO reports, Congressional Record articles, and the like, that have statistics on Russian immigration, and lists the benefits allotted under so-called "political asylum" laws. And tell them the Russian gravy train must be stopped, once and for all.
We have to fight the Russian mafia, the Islamic alqaeda, the communist Chinese...and the DUmmies.
All at the same time.
The Russian Mafia is ran by the Russian Intelligence agency. It has always been that way, even during the cold war.
The group allegedly was led by Konstantin Grigoryan, 56, of Altadena, a former colonel in the Soviet army; his wife, Mayya Leonidovna Grigoryan, 54;
the Grigoryans' son-in-law, Eduard Gershelis, 34, of Los Angeles; Mayya Grigoryan's brother-in-law, Aleksandr Treynker, 48, of Canoga Park; and Haroutyun Gulderyan, 36, of Tujunga.
The KGB and now the SVR run the mafia.
What is SVR ?
SVR is the new KGB foreign division.
