A terrorism symposium featuring leading experts will begin with presentation of "tangible proof" al-Qaida not only has developed an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons but also has begun to deploy them for use in its jihad against the United States and Israel.
Paul L. Williams, author of "The Al Connection" and "The Dunces of Doomsday," will present his findings at the National Press Club in Washington at the conclusion of a public debate with Wall Street Journal correspondent Richard Miniter on al-Qaida's nuclear weaponry.
The debate, Friday at 10 a.m., will be moderated by Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard and regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. The public is invited to attend.
The organizers say the event is timely, "with increased anxiety over demands for a pullout from Iraq, the nuclear developments in Iran and North Korea, the failure of our government to secure the borders and our country's fledgling, incomprehensive effort at homeland security."
Epstein believes the majority of Americans disapprove of both the "cut-and-run policy" proposed by many leading Democrats and the "compassionate conservative" approach of the Bush administration, favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."
"I am convinced that the threat we are currently facing from radical Islam greatly surpasses that which was posed by the Third Reich," Epstein said.
Anyone interested in attending, Epstein added, should contact America's Truth Forum at its website or by calling 866-709-3474.
The event offers the following speakers (continued):

Yep, you're right. Think back for a moment after 9/11 and fast forward to Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's daily threats. We would have already taken that sob out right along with his nuke construction if he would have dared to say then what he's threatening now. The difference is we have succumbed to our own home grown terrorists, the democrats and the MSM.
Following the debate, there will be a brief press conference in which Dr. Paul Williams will release startling, newly discovered information concerning al Qaeda's nuclear arsenal
I'm so happy you will go! Please give us a report about it and add me to your ping list.
What would happen to the economies of China, Russia, and the Oil Shiekdoms if are economy was hit hard enough so that we were unable to buy from them for an extended period?
I'm trying to pull up a list of D.C. Freepers and getting frustrated trying to figure it out. Wanted to ping several that live in the area. Would be great if other FReepers were there to join you.
"These Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas boys will be dropped off into Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists: "
Just tell them that terrorists are hippies.
"The us economy is built upon the ability to freely spend money, ergo branch banks, ATMs, checks, credit cards, etc.
What would be your first thought when it happens, right after where are the kids and are they safe? It would be:food, water, shelter and MONEY.
You and 100 MILLION other citizens think AT THE SAME TIME, I need to get some cash."
I agree that there would be chaos in the cities and surrounding areas. The ability to buy goods is not dependent on cash alone. Nearly everyone has credit cards and that system is heavily backed up and networked. My point was that life outside of the cities would not be irreparably disrupted. Lose the top 10 cities and the US would still survive.
"you are wrong,
they had the ability to hijack an airplane years ago, but they waited and planned, I believe documented five years or more to carry it out at the right time, so they could hijack multiple planes and drash into multiple targets simultaneously.
One small tactical nuke in one major city, big problem; but the US would survive.
Three or four tactical nukes set off one day (one week, etc)at a time would effectively end the US as we know it.
Never underestimate the enemy.

You are correct. Based on AQ's past attacks, they have consistently chosen 3 or 4 targets with every attack for a 'spectacular'. They detonate them all at once, therefore I doubt they would do one a day or week and give us time to prepare. What we can do now is a couple of things:
1) Have stronger civilian defense emergency plans to provide food and shelter for our population so we can survive as a country while we destroy those responsible. Russia built underground cities during the cold war. Not saying we should do the same but look at our horrific suffering from Katrina by not having the basics of food, water and transportation ready for this huge WHEN and not IF. The CIA has been saying for years a nuclear attack is a WHEN and not an IF. Having the means to survive and extract a heavy revenge is a deterrant in of itself.
2) Secure the damn borders so IF they have a couple of nukes already here it doesn't turn into seven, ten etc.
3)Establish a civilian police force as volunteers to help restore and keep order. Our military, FEMA and local police forces will be overwhelmed.
" That would be enough to grind the country to a halt, because, frankly, major cities would probably begin emptying in a panic since no one would REALLY know how many they have. At that point, AQ could begin sending ultimatums to the WH and set a timeline for the next detonation.""
ding! ding! ding!
we have a winner!!!
You said it better than I!

"The response to this would be multiple air bursts (ie. one thousand times larger than the tac nukes) over Pakistan, North Korea and anyone else even suspected of supplying the materials to Al-Qaeda. It would be the end of the world as we know it. The death toll would be over one hundred million."
I am not so sure about those targets because the material would have likely come from Iran. Note in the news today how Iran is going to give Sudan nuclear technology. The mad mullahs would hide in their bunkers 500 ft. underground just before such an attack. We would vaporize their country yes but kill the leadership, probably not. The mullahs are enboldened by something. In my opinion, they are probably being encouraged by Russia, especially since Russia is supplying them the technology in the first place...
sorry I had to go for a while.
Have you ever hear the phrase: cascading cross defaults.
mentioned by the former fed chairman who said it was one fo the things to be most feared.
One bank defaults and all the rest fall like a house of cards.
you wake up one mornig and find your ATM card does not work, nor can you write a check.
Google "cascading cross defaults" and read what comes up.
Scary!

"I believe we are too politically correct to randomly bomb the mid east...Al Qaida doesn't have a home...I suspect we would probably lick our wounds for a while and try to fugure out what to do..."
Unfortunately you may be correct that we would not respond immediately. What is the alternative? Just sit back and let city after city be destroyed? Even if we counter attacked it probably would not stop the attacks on us. Iran would certainly be destroyed, the tribal regions along the Pakistan afghan border, the sunni triangle, and probably several of the more troublesome arab countries would also be nuked. Would it do any good? I'm not sure.
It is just as silly as the terrorist/Iranian EMP attack that were supposed to suffer any day now.
"It would however be the end of the middle east and any other country full of crackpot muslims."
"You mean countries like France, England, Denmark, Sweden, etc., with millions of muslims that have taken over cities or parts of cities?"
OK, countries run by crackpot muslims.
