'Tangible proof' al-Qaida deploying nukes (Bombshell presentation)
WorldNetDaily ^ | 4/25/06 | WorldNetDaily.com

A terrorism symposium featuring leading experts will begin with presentation of "tangible proof" al-Qaida not only has developed an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons but also has begun to deploy them for use in its jihad against the United States and Israel.

Paul L. Williams, author of "The Al Connection" and "The Dunces of Doomsday," will present his findings at the National Press Club in Washington at the conclusion of a public debate with Wall Street Journal correspondent Richard Miniter on al-Qaida's nuclear weaponry.

The debate, Friday at 10 a.m., will be moderated by Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard and regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. The public is invited to attend.

The organizers say the event is timely, "with increased anxiety over demands for a pullout from Iraq, the nuclear developments in Iran and North Korea, the failure of our government to secure the borders and our country's fledgling, incomprehensive effort at homeland security."

Epstein believes the majority of Americans disapprove of both the "cut-and-run policy" proposed by many leading Democrats and the "compassionate conservative" approach of the Bush administration, favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."

"I am convinced that the threat we are currently facing from radical Islam greatly surpasses that which was posed by the Third Reich," Epstein said.

Anyone interested in attending, Epstein added, should contact America's Truth Forum at its website or by calling 866-709-3474.

The event offers the following speakers (continued):

Fortunate for us that we have so few friends then isn't it.

Sounds like a barrel of laughs. My possession of a vast fortune could be the topic of an equally relevant debate.

Other than the one on your head, what's your point? I assure you that no one is expecting this topic to be a barrel of laughs, but think the possibility of nukes in al-Qaida's possession is a relevant topic in the war on terror. Your arrogant dismissal of it is disconcerting.

I think you'd be very, very surprised. Every enemy that has assumed us to be exactly what you assume us to be........has paid a terrible price.

This is a NON story and pushed only by those either ignorant of the issue or have a book to sell. Anyone who does not dismiss this needs their head examined.

Your accusations against our military are totally unfounded just as these loonie fantasies of terrorists with nukes are.

Von Clauswitz would be the first to agree that war is just politics by another means. And Sun Tzu would have applauded the masterful destruction of Saddam's power.

You said -- "Fortunate for us that we have so few friends then isn't it."

There is a contrast in the Bible -- between God's judgments (which are righteous) and what we know of mankind's "judgments" (here and now). When God spoke to Abraham about Sodom and Gomorrah, about the coming judgment -- Abraham pleaded with God to spare the cities if there were just 50 righteous people in them. Then "bargained God down" -- to around just 10 righteous people.

God agreed.

And when the angels came to get Lot and his family -- they said for them to hurry, because until they were out of the city, it could not be destroyed. That meant that there were only five or less righteous people (that the angel took out of the city.

It's interesting that today -- with "mankind's judgment" we'll destroy the city no matter how many righteous there are, while God won't destroy it (with *His judgment*) unless all the righteous are removed.

But, then again -- not all judgments we see on earth are from God. The many calamities that we see are also from Satan, as we see in the book of Job (a very good example of it).

So, it wouldn't matter how many "friends" we have in those areas -- there would be people calling for their "mass destruction" regardless.

You said -- "For a Star Traveler, 100 years is nothing. Don't worry about it, look on the bright side: you can work on your game of checkers while the years pass by normally for you, and more slowly for us Earth dwellers under martial law."

Considering how much people complain about these kinds of things and from what I hear already in complaints -- we couldn't make it to 10 years, much less 100.

There is no "will" in this country to solve the problem for good. Rather, it's "Where's my beer?" and "Who did they kick off American Idol?" ...

So what if they then get nuked, don't you see they still win.

If 6 or 7 tactical nukes get set off in major US citys, I think the only appropriate action would be to nuke any country that can be proven to have supplied anything that helped.
We can pinpoint where the uranium(?) was produced. That country is toast. We can probably prove where they entered the US from. That country is toast.

If our economy is in shambles, and their economy is in shambles, which do you think will emerge from the shambles first?

If militant Islamics use nuclear weapons, how many countries do you think will immediately oust, or imprison, or mobs will kill ALL Islamics, citizens or not?

There will be targets destroyed. It's only a matter of how big and the time.
In a country such as the USA, at present day, with the liberties we allow, with the border as porous as it is, it's only a matter of time till terrorists take out some target rich environment in some fashion.

You asked -- "Did you fork over $99 for that fearmongering drool-alert?"

I've liked Joseph Farah from the beginning. I've been immensely pleased with his WorldNetDaily.com site and the information that he's provided there. In addition I've seen him interviewed on many other radio programs and like what I heard there too.

And for a news site, he also provides the Christian belief and viewpoint in his news and doesn't shy away from that -- like you'll find with many other news sites.

And so, I did want to try out the G2 Bulletin on his site. He happened to give a free month with his service, so I grabbed it. It basically costs (in the beginning) $9.95 plus that free month. I don't think that free month is offered any longer, though.

And like some other sites that I've subscribed to -- like the Wall Stree Journal for example -- I may try it for a while and then quit. But, mentioning the Wall Street Journal site (for example) -- I like Farah's site a lot better than I do the Wall Street Journal's site. I'm no longer paying for the Wall Street Journal -- but I am paying for the G2 Bulletin. And later on I may try something else, too.

I realize that some people may not be able to afford the $9.95 (and you may be in that group), and that's fine. But, just because you can't afford it, doesn't make it no good.

As I said, I've read Farah's site from the beginning, when he first started it -- and I haven't quit reading it since then. In fact -- I believe it was WorldNetDaily that directed me over to Free Republic... (from some of his comments or links or ads or whatever it was...).

You said -- "I think you'd be very, very surprised. Every enemy that has assumed us to be exactly what you assume us to be........has paid a terrible price."

And those who have assumed that their nation was too big or too powerful to succumb to attacks have paid their price, too. History is littered with them.

The Bible does not indicate that America plays *any prominent part* in the end-times scenario -- which seems to be coming upon us with great haste. And if that is so, it may be because America has been neutralized and is no longer a world power and is of no consequence.

Unless we do like Abraham Lincoln said -- we will probably be that kind of "has-been nation" of the history books...

By the President of the United States of America.

A Proclamation.

Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation.

And whereas it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.

And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment, inflicted upon us, for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!

It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th. day of April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain, on that day, from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering Country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.

Done at the City of Washington, this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the United States the eighty seventh.

By the President: Abraham Lincoln
William H. Seward, Secretary of State

Unless we see that kind of national repentence -- I think the terrible price to be paid will be ours...

Regards,
Star Traveler

It is easy to be arrogant confronting absolute Looney Tunes views of the world. What next are you going to listen to Clarabelle the Clown's foreign policy plans?

Whenever dipshit threads like this are posted you will find me laughing at them and pointing out their incredible foolishness. Whether you like it or not FR is not going to become a haven for cranks and crackpots.

I'm not sure what your intention was with you biblical references. Are we supposed to have the judgment of god? You tell me we we can see what's in people hearts...until then we have to do what's best for us based on information we can obtain.

If they had them, they would have used them.

Williams admits that the maintenance problem is formidable, but says they are working diligently to overcome it. This is why I don't need to go to the new United Flt 93 movie. I remember in my gut how it felt that day. I don't need my emotions manipulated, when I may have the real thing again tomorrow. A lot of people DO need to be reminded, but I never got "over" September 11, 2001.

You said -- "I'm not sure what your intention was with you biblical references. Are we supposed to have the judgment of god? You tell me we we can see what's in people hearts...until then we have to do what's best for us based on information we can obtain."

Well, the point is that God is very precise in His "justice" -- whereas mankind seems to be a bit on the sloppy side -- by killing indiscriminately whether its a "righteous judgment" for the truly "guilty" or not.

In this matter (the war on terror) and what to do if someone explodes a nuclear bomb in our country -- it seems that it doesn't matter who is responsible -- because a large group of people seem willing to kill entire countries on the basis of something being either snuck across the border or materials stolen from their nation or other tenuous connections.

During the Cold War, the "MAD doctrine" made more sense as a deterrence -- and it worked. It worked because there were entire nations responsible and the people of those nations would ultimately suffer the penalties. And no one wanted those kinds of results from a nuclear exchange.

But now, there are not entire nations responsible -- but rather a small but significant group of Islamic terrorists of many nations. In fact, these terrorists don't even count those nations that we're willing to bomb (from the comments here on Free Republic) as legitimate.

God, on the other hand, does not punish the innocent along with the guilty. The Biblical references show the extreme difference between what God dispenses as judgment and what mankind dispenses as judgment.

And furthermore, the Biblical references are also to to point out that those judgments of God are soon to come. I would say that most of the people alive on this planet now -- will directly see those judgments come to pass.

Star Traveler
