"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Oh, I think it's a definite possibility. Maybe even a likelihood.
Not that I have any love for Lott you understand. But he's been working behind the scenes toward this goal for himself I believe.
Some of the paralysis of the Senate pubs on various issues may be due to Lott's influence, I'd wager.

I'm tired about all talk and no action on gas prices but its an issue that's adding to unemployment in my state. Michigan's economy is (ahem) in the tank and thanks to the politicans, there's no end in sight.
