NOT-SO-GREEN LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS (enviro celebs deemed hypocrites---Teddy is pulp)
NY POST ^ | April 25, 2006 | EDITORIALS

****It's not just Julia Roberts----John Kerry's entourage consisted of a bunch of SUVs................and not only have the Kennedys refused to build wind-powered systems on Nantucket Sound; they own two major oil-producing companies here in America. If the liberals want to whine about "the oil-rich making money off of the backs of the poor" .....one of President Bush's friends in the big-oil business is the Kennedy family....often claiming to champion the very poor that they are robbing. onroe Township, N.J.

***** The problem I have with the environmental movement is its opposition to industrial progress. Sen. Ted Kennedy is a waste of time and, in the spirit of this letter, pulp as well. Nesconset

***** Hypocrites, anyone? The "green fraud" celebrity exposure is just another classic example of "saints" who exclude themselves from practicing what they preach. Since they rule from on high, they are naturally excluded from the rigors and restraints they impose on the lower classes........ Brooklyn

***** A few more items could have been added to the list of hypocritical lifestyle choices of celebrities........How about the private jets? And the travel they do? Or how about their cavernous homes that use up energy keeping them cool or warm? And most have more than one home.......... Suffern

At least Ted Kennedy tried to establish an inland underwater fish habitat (albeit with Mary Jo Kopechne still inside). John Junior's was more successful.

But hey, it's the thought that counts.

The Kennedy's love helping the poor with someone elses money. Its all only show for the papers. The Kennedy's could care less about the poor.

Some enterprising young reporter should find out whether the Kennedy oil companies have raised their prices on oil lately, and if the price increase was because their costs had increased similarly, otherwise they are "gouging" the poor consumers.....

How do these bastards do it? They create problems, and then somehow make Republicans responsible for them. Green weenies insure that no refineries are built, no new drilling for oil happens, and Bush is blamed when prices go up.

Green weenies sue and win to stop the building of Netherlands style dykes, approved by congress and signed by lbj, ALL THE WAY BACK IN THE 60'S, then dimos take federal monies for decades, sent for levee and dam upkeep and repair, and spend it on other things. Then when a category 5 storm is boring down on them, dimos in charge fail to institute their emergency evacuation plan, the one that their state says they WILL use in case of emergency, instead opting to leave these folks to fend for themselves, and yet, when these same folks cant get out, and many DROWN, who gets blamed? The dimos who left them to drown? The same dimos who NEVER FAIL to pick them up on ELECTION DAY? NO!!! It's President Bush's fault!

Terrorism? The war on terror? During the '90s we suffered one attack after another, and every top dimo in the land was on record saying that sodom was dangerous and had to be taken out! He had WMD, he was hitler redaux, but they lacked the balls to handle the job. As a result, terrorists had multiple opportunities to kill our women and children, as we witnessed in their second swipe at the WTC, having attempted once in '93 to bring it down, and then seeing that there was to be no retalliation. No more, after President Bush was elected. 9-11 was answered forcefully, and as a result, there have been no more attacks on our soil, and yet terrorism is all Bush's fault!
